Third Person

Huening was also there; he tried to block what they said, but he knew he couldn't. He couldn't cry, he didn't want to, what would crying do? Nothing. It won't change the fact that Yeonjun is in the hospital, it wouldn't change anything.

He looked up to see Beomgyu and Tae hugging, he felt. Left out? Jealous? Or something else. He stood up about to walk out of the room. "Don't go..." Taehyun frowned.

The pink-haired boy moved away from the Brunette and stood up pulling Huening Kai into a hug.
"Do you think he'll be ok..." Huening whispers
"I hope so," Taehyun responds.

"I'll leave you two be..." The older one says, it was clear they needed time and he just didn't want to be there. Before he could leave the room he heard Taehyun's voice, "Hyung, where's-" He was cut off. "Where's Soobin Hyung?" Beomgyu said, looking back at Taehyun, the younger one nodded. "He's with Jun Hyung, although the doctors said he should go home he refused and they ended up letting him stay," Taehyun nodded.

Beomgyu walked out and headed toward his room.
I really hope you're okay Junnie Hyung, although I've been annoying towards you it was never meant to be disrespectful. But I should probably be saying that to you directly rather than in my head...

While the Maknaes and Beomgyu were at home Soobin was with Yeonjun in the hospital room. He had fallen asleep on the chair with his head on the edge of the hospital bed, Yeonjun's hand holding his.

"He really refused to leave," a man said.
"We tried all we could but he still refused," The doctor responded. "We thought since you're their manager you could help convince him to leave."
"And why's that? I don't see an issue. His friend is hurt of course Soobin refused to leave." Their manager replied
"I- sorry sir, we understand. We'll allow him to stay." The doctor bowed down and walked away.

Their manager entered the room and saw that the two were asleep, at least he hoped Yeonjun was asleep. He was going to tell Soobin something but realized this wasn't the right time, plus he also saw they were holding hands and took the opportunity to snap a photo and send it to the TXT staff group chat with the message 'Aren't they so adorable' quickly most of the staff read the messages and replied. Some even said they looked like a couple or how they would make a cute couple. They weren't a couple though. Their manager left, closing the door quietly; however, it was just enough noise to wake Yeonjun up. He opened his eyes wondering where he was. He turned his head to his left seeing Soobin next to his side, he wondered why and then looked around the rest of the room.

I- I'm in the hospital...

Why was he here, surely he wasn't that badly hurt right? He tried to sit up but before he could even lift his body a centimeter above the hospital bed he felt an enormous amount of pain and all his bones felt like they could crack at any second. He tried to not make any noise biting his bottom lip roughly and squeezing his hands tightly. That's when he realized...

"Yeonjun Hyung?" Soobin said lifting his head slightly, the older was squeezing Soobin's hand. He quickly let go but before he could apologize the pain he felt increased. It was worse now and he couldn't stay silent anymore. He screamed, crossing his arms, and squeezing his hips as he threw his head back.

Soobin quickly woke up. "Hyung! Hyung, what's wrong?! Did you move? Does your back hurt!?" He started freaking out.
"Shit!" a curse word escaped Yeonjun's mouth. He was clenching his teeth, "get the doctor! Please," He said before screaming again from the pain.

Soobin felt tears fall from his eyes but ran over to the door, opened it, and called for a doctor. Nurses were rushing to the room, one of them leaving to grab the doctor. They all rushed over to Yeonjun and held him down.

Soobin looked back at his Hyung, tears continuing to flow down. He looked like he was dying. He really hoped it wasn't that bad but he knew it could only get worse from here. He hated that, he wished Yeonjun didn't trip. He didn't blame Huening, not at all, he just wished he didn't let Yeonjun leave his side. He should've grabbed him, refusing to let him leave his side even though Huening Kai asked for help, someone else could've helped... right.

Why am I crying, he's the one in pain... fuck! Why did this have to happen?

He heard running outside the room and saw the doctor quickly run in. "You'll have to go outside for now," one of the nurses said, "we'll let you know when we're done so you can come back in." Soobin nodded and walked out of the room, he was allowed to look through the window on the door he just couldn't be inside.

But what he saw... it hurt him, the needles... the blood, the screaming. He couldn't bear to see more. He fell to the floor, his back on the wall, curled up with his hand around his legs, and his head buried in his knees. He stayed there crying for what felt like forever.

Finally, the door opened. He stood up, quickly wiping away his tears and turning to the doctor. "How is he!" Soobin asked.

"Thankfully there are no broken bones but if he moves around at all his bones might break from his muscles stretching and the pain. Our only option was to put him in a coma," Soobin's heart dropped. "He'll most likely recover before he wakes up but... he might pass away while in the coma, it isn't likely but there's a possibility. You can go in and see him now," and just like that the doctor left leaving Soobin with the worst news ever.

He couldn't believe his ears, was Yeonjun really in a coma? Could he really die at any moment? Soobin couldn't even go back inside; all he could do was stay there and cry into his hands. He didn't want to risk losing Yeonjun. Was this all really happening, it didn't sound believable. How could he just get hurt like this, was it his fault... He was supposed to protect everyone but failed to.
