Soobin's POV

I opened my eyes and rubbed them with the back of my palms. I sat up straight and let out a yawn. "Shit, I fell asleep, didn't I?" I chuckled.

I stood up from the chair and grabbed my bag off the floor, "Good morning, Hyung," I said. "Still haven't woken up yet, huh?"

I sighed and sat back down with my bag in my lap. I closed my eyes and took a couple of deep breaths.

The heartbeat monitor sped up?

I opened my eyes.
Why can I hear someone else breathing? Is it Yeonjun Hyung? Is he having a nightmare? Is this normal?

"Soobin..."

My eyes widened, and my head quickly turned to Yeonjun Hyung.

"W-where am I?"

His eyes were slightly open, and he was looking at me, trying to move his hand my way. I stood up again, and my bag fell off my lap to the floor. I ran to the door slamming it open.

"Bin!" Yeonjun said as loud as he could, considering his current state. It was more of a loud whisper.

"Somebody get a Doctor!!" I yelled.

A couple of people sitting outside other hospital rooms were startled. One of them opened the door and said something inside. A nurse rushed out of the hospital room and headed my way.

"What's wrong?" She asked worryingly.

"He- he's awake," I muttered.

She nodded her head and quickly walked off.

"Come back..." He mumbled, his voice sounding scratched up as if he had just caught the worst cold.

I rushed back to Yeonjun's side and grabbed his hand. "I'm here, Hyung," I cried.

"D-don't cry, Bin," He remarked.

"I- ah, s-sorry," I stammered, wiping the tears from my face. "Hold on, I gotta- I'm gonna tell the others,"

"N-no, don't. I only want you here." He smiled, opening his eyes a little more.

I heard footsteps from behind me, Jun's doctor, and a couple nurses. Some looked familiar, and some unfamiliar. It felt like a complete blur as one of the nurses asked me to exit the room for a little while. I complied, but once the door closed behind me, I broke down.

I fell to my knees, a small puddle of tears below me. While silently crying in the palm of my hand, I stood to sit on one of the waiting chairs. Why am I crying this time? He's awake, for god's sake! I should be happy, not upset. Or... what if I'm dreaming.

"You can come in now," one of the nurses said, snapping me out of my thoughts. I stood wiping the tears, then bowed, thanking her.

I went to the doorway and stepped in. I saw Jun's doctor, the one that was assigned to him for the past months; he was speaking with Yeonjun and then spotted me, telling me to come over.
