Two tribes, one island. You can see how that can be a problem right? It was always the Kooks vs the Pogues, the rich vs the poor, the working class vs the snobs. Since as long as anyone could remember it, that's how it's always been. They say at birth your tribe is already chosen for you, the universe had decided. Kassidy Carrera was a Kook, born and raised—"lucky her" you might say but, the Kook life wasn't all it sought out to be. Don't be fooled by the brand new Grady-Whites and the luxury Mercedes-Benz C- Class cars, everyone on the island has their own shit to deal with and no amount of money could cover that up.
Kassidy was the Figure 8 "golden girl", Kook princess if you will, but she wasn't snobby or stuck up like the rest, she was sweet, and caring, and knew just how to make you laugh when you needed to. She treated everyone as an equal; which is why Kassidy was loved by everyone on the island, the Kooks and the Pogues, there was nothing she could say or do that would be considered wrong. She was just..perfect. Her sister Kiara on the other hand was both. Born a Kook but everyone knows where her heart lies— with the Pogues.
Kassidy wasn't just the island's "golden girl" she was also her parents. She went to school and got straight A's in every subject, participated in almost every extracurricular in the book, played sports, was involved in three volunteer organizations, and helped out at The Wreck on her free time— their perfect daughter. But for Kassidy it was too perfect to the point where it was exhausting and boring. So when she ever got the change to be a little less than"perfect" she would jump at the opportunity.
So, when this Kook princess gets the chance to join her Pogue princess sister in a life of thrill and adventure, searching for things that only god above would know if they existed, would she do it? And if she did, would if be everything she dreamed of?

Notes:I'm so excited to start this book! Kassidy is going to be the best oc! Her end game is JJ but just to let you know this is a slow burn romance! I want to build little pieces of their relationship before they get together. This book will follow the original plot of Outerbanks with a few of my own twist and lots of fluff!
