"Saewon-ah, I'm nervous." Saewon turned to look at Yumi confused. "It's my first time meeting Jake's parents later. What if they don't like me?" Yumi was worried. "Shut up girl, you're literally the sweetest person I know and I'm sure they are going to like you whether they want it or not. Just be yourself."

"You're right." Her lips raised into a smile. Right at that moment, Saewon's ringtone had went off.

"Hello? Sunghoon?" She questioned. "Saewon where are you right now? Please tell me quick!" She was even more confused hearing the panic and distressed voice of Sunghoon. "Wha-" Beep- Beep- "Hello?" The line had cut off before Saewon could even reply, she tried calling back only to realise there was no service. They both looked at each other in confusion still standing in the middle of the pathway. "Is it just me or does it seem like theres not a single person in sight." Yumi looked around, making an observation. Just then, a loud siren could be heard, making both of them jump.

"..I-isn't that the State of Emergency siren?" Both their eyes went wide.

"Quick let's get out of here, I don't know what's going on but until we do we can't be standing in the open like this." Saewon grabbed Yumi's hand and started running towards the school while the siren was still going off, hoping to find someone who knew what was going on.

Saewon's father was a part of the military, ever since she was young he would constantly train and teach her the basics of survival and defending herself. The do's and don'ts when in a crisis. She was 6 when she first laid hands on a gun, her dad's gun to be exact. She never wanted to go near them again after though.

"Do you think it's a bomb? An earthquake maybe?" Saewon could tell in Yumi's voice that she was terrified, still clutching onto her." I doubt so, we haven't heard any explosions or tremors yet." Saewon squeezed her hand in an attempt to reassure her even though she was scared herself.

As they reached the gates of the school, everything was deserted and not a single person was in sight. It was like everyone had just disappeared. The both of them blindly entered the school compound noticing books, papers, bags, scattered across the floor while the lights were flickering. "What the fuck is going on?" Yumi was more confused than ever.

"Hello? Is there anyone here?" Saewon had reached out towards a classroom door deciding to open it. She turned the knob, slowly opening the door. The last thing Saewon had expected was the sight of an ungodly creature sticking its tongue out in her face, face disorientated wearing the school uniform. Straight out of a horror movie. The foul decomposing stench attacking her nostrils immediately, not being able to handle the shock she let out a shriek and slammed the door.

"What happ-" Saewon grabbed her hand before Yumi could ask more questions and started running wherever their legs would take them as more creatures started emerging from different directions. Yumi gasped. "Are those.. zombies..?" Right, they're called zombies. Saewon thought to herself as they tried running towards the entrance, stamina already depleting the longer they ran, their skirts swaying side to side making Saewon feel extremely uncomfortable.
