Try Something New~ Ianthony (seventh chapter)

"He seems to be making progress, his heart rate is normal but he has not woken up." A doctor said.

"Do you think he'll make it?" Ian asked.

"Hard to say, but we're not giving up hope."

Hope. Ian could use a little hope, the cutting got worse, he was having weird visions, and to top it all off he had to run the Smosh website all by himself. He even had to make a special Smosh video to everyone about what happened, explaining what had happened,

The doctor looked at Ian, with comforting eyes.

"Ian, it's alright to go home. He'll be ok, we will call you if something happens."

"No, I'm staying here, until he wakes up."

"Alright."

The doctor did his check up with Anthony, checked his pulse once again and his blood pressure. He then turned to Ian.

"Have you ever thought about seeing someone?"

Ian looked down twitiling his fingers.

"Like a physiatrist? No, I haven't." Ian replied.

The doctor handed him a card.

"Here, he can come to you instead, because of your special bond with Anthony."

Special bond.

Ian hesitated. Would he really talk to someone about his bottled up thoughts?

It couldn't hurt maybe.

"Thanks...I guess."

The doctor smiled at Ian.

"Try something new." He said as he left

Ian looked down at the card.

"Alright Ian, why don't you tell me what's on your mind."

Ian folded his hands on his stomach.

"My best friend has been in a coma for over a month now."

The man wrote down some notes and then continued talking.

"And how does this make you feel?"

"I feel alone, lost, Anthony would do everything with me, and we would make videos ever friday. We can't now." Ian replied

The man wrote down some more notes.

"So, you self-harm?"

"Yes.."

"How long have you been doing this?"

"Ever since my girlfriend left me, she packed up her things now shes gone."

"Do you think maybe you miss her?"

"Barely, she was always gone. I never really saw her."

"Why was she gone?"

"She had classes at the university."

"Did you miss her?"

Ian was silent on this question.

"No I didn't. I was spending to much time with Anthony with Smosh and vacations. I never really thought about her. It's almost like Anthony...was my melanie."

"But your straight? Bisexual? Gay?"

"I honestly don't believe my sexual orientation has anything to do with this."

"It does Mr. Hecox. Now are you straight,bisexual, or gay?"

"I'm gay."

"And who is your gay lover."

Ian didn't answer this.

"Anthony I suppose, alright, now I'm going to suggest something to you. I want you to take a break from Antho-"

"HELL NO."

"Ian, i believe it will help you-"

"No, you don't know shit, I'm staying here until he wakes up. Your not going to move me, so don't even try and if you want to "help" me, then LEAVE."

The man backed out of the room leaving Ian alone.

Ian went back to Anthony and grabbed his hand and held it in his.

"Anthony, I told you I'm staying right here, they can't move me."

Ian kissed Anthony's forehead gently.

"I'll be right here, when you wake up."
