Chapter 3: In one's mind

Jenna kept telling the story but ended at "she said she only wanted one thing for everything and everyone...Control" after that Jenna Malcom gave them a map to the shards and then the three walked back to the palace but Artemis kept looking back because she felt like she was being followed but Superstes kept her promise so it couldn't be her right? So, she kept walking and out of nowhere she sees a spirit but not just any spirit "Morgan!?" said Artemis quietly making sure nobody heard her, but she walked out of the group and went to get a closer look. "Alright Artemis I think we need to go here and then- wait where's Artemis?" said Jason and the three look around to see she's not there, the three yelled out her name but there was no answer nothing but silence and a strange green glow in the distance. Artemis kept walking towards the spirit and a portal had opened and told Artemis to follow her inside. So, she followed the spirit and on the other side was something she'd never imagine but she saw a different side of Morgan la fey, a side of peacefulness but still stay cautious and Morgan said "Hello Artemisa, it's been a long time since we've last met, hasn't it?". "Hello Morgan...I thought you died in the temple" said Artemis, "well sometimes old habits die hard, and Artemis I should've told you this before the temple collapsed, I'm sorry for everything that happened all I wanted was-" "revenge because of the one you loved, isn't that, right?" said Artemis and Morgan nodded and she felt very guilty for her actions.

So, Artemis gave Morgan her hand and said, "it was a mistake, everyone makes mistakes it wasn't your fault". Morgan showed Artemis the whole realm and said, "you know things aren't always what they seem like your friends for example if I told to you that they were just using you to get what they wanted you probably wouldn't believe me anyway" and Morgan continued walking but Artemis kept having second thoughts. "Morgan they wouldn't use me they'd never" said Artemis trying to convince Morgan but Artemis starts to think if she was right and Morgan said, "are you sure about that because Jason would say otherwise, I mean think about it didn't Jason try to trick you before what's to say he can't do it again?" and she kept saying that they would never use her as if she was trying to hide it. Artemis kept feeling as if they were betraying her in some way then that's when Morgan said "Artemis I really didn't want you to find out this way but Jason, Serena, and Maxwell are using you as a weapon just like the government they saw you just like they saw me, I am trying to help you now you just have to trust me" and Morgan reached out her hand and showed what would've happened if Artemis kept going with them. So Artemis agreed and what she's done was a huge mistake making a deal with Morgan La Fey, as the three saw what looked like to be Artemis Jason told them to stop and look and what they saw was Artemis making a deal with someone that had looked familiar "Artemis what is with you walking away from us?" said Maxwell once she turned around, she hadn't said a word all she did was she showed them one of the shard pieces that Morgan gave to her, "wait you found it!? Now we just need 15 more shards left," said Maxwell.
