"We are never getting out of here." My friends and I, watched from a safe distance as an array of adults and teenagers crowded by the elevators. They seemed to move as one as they shoved each other in an effort to leave, then groaned quite dramatically once they got cut off from entering.

In the midst of the chaos, stood some obnoxious teacher who kept yelling, 'please get in a single file line' in a nasally voice. At this point he should have gave up by now since it was clear as day that they weren't going to listen to him.

"On the bright side, since everyone is fucking morons, they don't realize that this building has another side to it... With elevators." I say sarcastically, crossing my arms as I watch the scene unfold ahead of me.

"Shh! Don't say it out loud! They might hear you." Grace whispers loudly. She covers my mouth, stopping me from saying anything else as she glances around us, trying to see if anyone had heard me.

I rolled my eyes as I removed her hands from my mouth. "Come on, let's go before someone who has a small percentage of their brain working figures that out."

As a group, we tried discreetly leaving the chaotic scene. We weren't really a huge group of friends, no it was just Grace, Casey, Trevor, Zach, and I. But we didn't want to bring attention to ourselves just in case people were being nosy to see where we were going. Thankfully everyone was too distracted to pay attention to us as we walked to the other side of the building.

We knew this place well enough by now because of the mandatory school wide tour they gave us. With that said, we were on a school field trip to this business corporation who apparently thought it was a brilliant idea to have high school students come and distrupt their petty little lives and tell us about, well their petty little lives.

I still didn't quite understand why they didn't just have the schools come at separate times instead of all at once. It would have been less of a hassle for every one.

Altogether, we were three schools. The tour was only meant for the senior class since we were all about to graduate and they wanted fresh meat to work for them.

The bright side to all of this madness was the fact that we were all out now and could go down to the festival that they were hosting for us where there was a variety of food to be devoured and games to be played. Plus they got some local band to play.

But the real fun would be later on at night because they got a DJ to play for us and we heard some rumors that the teachers weren't going to chaperone and it was only meant for the seniors and not the rest of the public. Oh did I mention the fair was open to the public as well? Fun. To be quite honest I didn't know why I was so excited. I was going to leave before all of that anyways.

"Thank you, Jesus!" Zach yells with his hands held up high in the air as if he were preaching. I elbow him lightly in the stomach so he could put his hands down.

There were only a handful of people waiting to get into the elevators which meant that we could finally leave this building faster than we had originally thought.

We let the people who got here before us go first, just because we wanted an elevator to ourselves. Also who would want to ride with a bunch of strangers and have that awkward silence, or hushed conversations?
