"That's so cool."

"Yeah almost like something you would see in a movie." They stare at the wall in wonder.

"How is that even possible?" I shrug my shoulders, mostly because I didn't feel like giving them an explanation on a fucking wall, and also because we could get attacked at any given moment since we're out in the open.

"Okay we've got to go before we have the great pleasure of being accompanied by things you don't even know exist. So move it or lose it people." I push past them and lead the way through the tunnels.

The lights, unlike the elevator, were yellow and dimmed. Some of them were burned out from years of running without anyone bothering to change them. Others were cracked and crunched under my boot as I walked.

The tunnels were beyond filthy. Water dripped from the drains. Dirt and mud covered the floors. Spiderwebs and years of collected dust covered almost every inch of the walls making my nose tickle.

"Where exactly are we going?" Zach asks.

"A safe location." I reply curtly.

"And how do you know where this 'safe location' is? If there even is one... And how do you know we won't get lost in here?"

"There is a safe location. We will not get lost." I keep my response short and simple, never giving them too much information just like I was taught. I hear him sigh in defeat, knowing well enough that he won't get much out of me.

I just couldn't really comprehend what the hell was going on. I mean I never believed that this would happen to me again yet here we are! The one place I never wanted to step foot in again after-

"Hey," Fred walks beside me. "Thanks for saving my life back there."

"No problem," I smile. "I wasn't trying to have you die under my watch."

"But still." He stares at me. "Thank you. I owe you my life." I nudge his shoulder with mine.

"Stop being so cheesy."

"Just like pizza." I stop walking and look at him dead in the face. "Totally kidding!"

Suddenly I hear a scream coming from behind me, alarmed I jump into action, removing my gun from my pants and click the safety off in a flash. I turn behind me, pointing my gun at the target. I sigh.

"I'm sorry! I saw a bug!" Casey holds her hands up. I lower the gun down shaking my head.

"Come on we have to go. Now!" I take off running.

"Rose! Stop! Why are we running?" I slow myself down until I was jogging once I realized they were far behind me. I forgot they weren't trained.

"That scream gave away our location. We need to move fast before they get here." We turn the corner.

"They? Who's they?" I stop dead in my tracks, holding out my left hand immediately, stopping everyone from running straight into danger.

"Who the hell is that?" Ahead of us was a girl wearing a dress clearly made for a younger girl. It was filthy, as if it were never washed. Which probably wasn't. She had her blonde hair covering her face and even with the terrible lighting you could still tell how greasy it was.

She was bare foot despite the fact their was broken shards of glass on the floor. She stared at us silently, tilting her head slightly to the side so we still weren't able to see her face.

"What the fuck?" I hear Casey breath from behind me.

"Don't Casey." I warn her.

"Um hi! Are you lost? What's your name?" I lift my gun up, aligning it perfectly to her head. "Rose! Stop!" Casey lunges forward, trying to reach for the gun. "She's just a little-" the girl suddenly screams and takes off running towards us with great speed. I shoot at her but she only jerks back. I shoot again but nothing happens. I ran out of ammo... Again.
