As I stared at every rotten creature that stared back at me with vengeful eyes, I knew that it was all planned.

In a whirl wind, flashes of the past few days of being stuck here in the tunnels was projected in my mind. Bits and pieces of our journey here... Why nothing had attacked us the last few times we were down here in the tunnels. Why he sent that retched goblin to tell me that message... it all made sense now.

It was because he needed enough of his creatures to create this ambush. He wanted to make escaping completely impossible for me. How clever of him.

"Rose what do we do?" Grace asks. Her voice trembling in what I believe to be only fear.

"Run back the way we came from." I stare at all of the creatures that stared back at me in contempt. Knowing that they had me right where they wanted.

But I was prepared to give them the fight of their lives in order to give my friends enough time to run back to safety. I just hoped they figured out how to unlock the door without me by now. Crap I should have taught them to open it without me. There was so much I should have done and now it was too late.

"We can't!" I turn back at them impatiently when I finally see why they couldn't. The door we had just entered from was now blocked off by more creatures. There were so many of them from where I could see, which only meant that there had to be more. There's little chances of us getting out of here now.

And here I thought he was preparing for what was to come but instead he was sacrificing so many of his creatures to come and try to kill me. Or at least capture me.

"I see your master has been busy lately!" I turn my head slightly towards them, lowering my voice. "Go to the corner of the room. Do what I told you guys to do."

The guys nod and grab the girls, taking them to the corner of the room making sure they were the closest to the wall and form a protective barrier around them with their knives pointed out. I smile to myself feeling slightly proud.

But that doesn't last long as I'm being thrown across the room. My back hitting the wall hard as I crumple to the floor in a heap. It takes me a moment to shake it off. I'm used to taking hits but it still hurt like crazy. My back ached as I stood and grabbed for my gun.

I start shooting, killing anything that nears me. My sub machine was sadly on the floor being ignored as creatures neared me greedily. All I had to do was get back to my gun that I had unfortunately dropped do to some asshole who threw me against the wall, and I could make my friends a safe route.

"Rose!" I turn to my friends. Watching as a couple of goblins near the guys with taunting smiles.

I curse silently before shooting them in the back of their heads. They fall forward, blood splattering on the guys faces as their eyes widen, quickly they wipe their faces in shock as they stare at the dead goblins on the floor a few feet away from them.

I check my ammo then continue shooting at those who were close enough to grab me. I was quickly running out on this one I would have to change soon but I can't afford to lose any weapons right now.

Speaking of which... I eye my sub machine gun on the floor. I could take down so much more with that! Making my way towards it I begin shooting, creating a path.

I grunt in pain as my hair is pulled and I'm lifted up off the ground by it. I felt as strands of my hairs were being ripped from head. The pull made my head ache in pulses and my eyes grew watery. This is such a cheap shot!

I raise my gun and shoot blindly, making me swerve violently to the left in the air. I shoot again and this time I'm released and fall to the floor.
