Well, it was just another boring day of school. Or, so I thought. I was stuck in 3rd period bored as ever. The day seemed to go by as slowly as humanly possible, and I just wanted to get to lunch more than ever, cause at this point I would eat anything. As that thought ran through my head, so did he. "He" refers to the boy I've admired since I first laid eyes on him. Gosh, he was so perfect.  On the topic of him, I realized that I would be seeing him at lunch. He was in my third period as well. We occasionally hung out, or he would try to start some type of small talk with me. A smile spread across my face.

My friend glanced over in my direction, and caught my attention considering I had been zoning out all that time.

"Ooo, Are you thinking of H/n?" F/n said, teasing me

"Oh my god- Keep it down, what if he hears you??" I said, looking over at him to see if he'd notice the remark F/n had made.

I glanced over, and saw him staring at me. I sunk into my seat and under the table, covering my face with my hands in embarrassment. They giggled in a sly manner and got back to their work. I got back up and noticed he was still looking at me. I made deep eye contact with him before he brushed his hair back, looked away and chuckled. I still looked at him, and took in all of the details about him.

My train of thought was interrupted by the lunch bell. I hurriedly packed my things, and ran off to the lunch room where I met my friends. His little "Clique" sat besides mine, so I could always just gaze at him whenever. I opened up my backpack from under the cafeteria table only to realize I'd forgotten my lunch. I sighed, knowing that I didn't have any money in my school balance. I just rested my head on my hand and zoned out a little towards H/n's direction. He looked back at me, and stared at me up and down. He got up from the cafeteria table, and ran off somewhere. I just continued staring off into space, until someone slammed a lunch tray in front of me. I saw the sleeves of somebody's black/gray sweater and looked up to only see him (H/n). He stared into my eyes for a brief moment, before coming back to reality.

"Uhhh-" H/n said searching for his words

"I saw that you didn't really have umm, any food so- Uh, I got you some. I just don't want you to be hungry." He said

I smiled at him, and grabbed his hand, intertwining it with mine and then stood up.

"Thank you, H/n" I whispered softly in his ear. I looked up and stared into his deep, dark eyes.

"Oh yeah, of course, it's uh nothing-"

A friend walked up to him and grabbed his shoulder to get his attention.

"Yo- You up for joining us in basketball? We need another player"  F/n spoke

He looked over, and looked back at me.

"Nah, I'm good." H/n said.

F/n walked out of the cafeteria, and both me and H/n took a seat next to each other. I started eating slowly, and I could see him pretending to be looking in another direction, while he was really glancing over at me the entire time. Eventually, I finished eating and threw away my tray. I proceeded to walk back to where he was sitting.

"Hey...So, about third period-" H/n said

Every single thought ran through my head. Did he find out that I liked him? Did I say anything out loud??
