Daddy's Day Out 

"I am going to miss you so much, will you miss me baby?" You kissed Daisy on the cheek as she squeezes you so tightly. "Yes mummy" She pouted as you let go of her and hugged James. "Please keep telling me what happens and send me pictures as I am going to miss you both so much" You said to James. "I will don't worry. You need to go, I love you"

You were going to Scotland for a few days for a work conference. You hadn't left Daisy with James for that long on his own. You knew he would be absolutely fine, but you hated leaving her.

"So it is just me and you baby. What shall we do?" James crouched down to her level. "Park and toy shop" Daisy shouted out loud. "Okay, lets get your coat on princess and we can go" She grabbed her shoes and passed them to you.

"You are such a good girl. Come on, pass me your foot" He laughed as he put her shoes on and then she put her coat on, zipping it up herself. "When did you get so grown up, where has my baby gone" James pouted as he tickled her belly as she squealed.

James picked her up and put her in the car seat, so he headed to the toy shop. "Is mummy going to shout at me if I bought you so many toys?" He asks Daisy as they got out of the car and walked along to the shop.

Daisy laughed as she pulled out so much disney princesses toys. She had been a good girl lately and James was such a sucker. She had him in the palm of her hands and whatever she did, he didn't care about anything. He could let his little girl get away with murder and was just so in love with the little girl she was becoming.

"Mummy is going to be so angry with us both. But as long as you are happy" James laughed. She put everything in the basket that she wanted. It seemed to be filling up rather quickly.

Daisy finally stopped and they both headed to the counter. They paid for all of the toys. "I'm hungry" Daisy mumbled as James was strapping her in the car seat. "Hmm, shall we have a cheeky McDonalds? mummy will be jealous"

James went in the drivethru and got Daisy a happy meal. James was obviously still playing, so only got a drink "Daddy look at the toy" Daisy threw the toy at James. "Aww this is cute. Do you have any of these books? Maybe we should get some. When I was little we used o have these" She shook her head.

"I will have a look once we are back from the park. Then we can talk to mummy" James smiled as he watched her eat her food before driving off. "Ready for the park" He shouted as he drove to the nearest park. "Shall we go and see the ducks?" He asked as he grabbed her hand.

The walk was peaceful around the park as James decided he wanted to FaceTime you. "Lets talk to mummy" James said as you waved in the screen as you answered it. "Hello baby, miss you both. Where are you? It looks cute" You asked them. "We are at the park, gone to see the duckies. What are you doing?" He asked you.

"Nothing, just finished my first conference today. I am going to relax for the rest of the evening. I am glad you are enjoying daddy's day out" You smiled as Daisy ran in and waved again. "Mumma see duckies" "Yes babe I see them" you smiled at them.

"I really wish I was there" you pouted. "Us too. But we are enjoying it. See you soon though, love you. Daisy come on say bye to mummy" She waves as she blows you a kiss goodbye.
