"He threw a quick left hook and it broke my nose, I had thick red blood running down my clothes."

                                                                                             --

After the events that had unfolded, I made some interesting decisions. If this is how Draco is going to play, then I wouldn't mind joining the game. It seems like he wasn't the only one attracting stares. In my mind, I made a mental roster...

                                                                                             --

After the train ride, I grabbed my book and walked with Hermione and Ron.

Wondering where Harry is, I asked Hermione, who had a worried look on her face.

She explained Harry has been gone since Draco dragged me off. However, knowing Harry, he was probably in the bathroom with a Gryffindor girl.

Yes, all my male friends have had a noticeable glow-up over the summer. Especially Draco and Harry.

Internally groaning at my speculation, I let my thoughts take me away to my first encounter with Harry.

*Flashback*

I have heard of  the Potters abundant times over my life but never met the boy before.

Just before the sorting ceremony, I saw Draco talking snobbishly to a raven-haired boy.

Curious about the commotion, I decided to investigate.

I knew Draco was up to no good because he had that stupid smirk on his face whenever he snuck up on me. He started introducing himself to the famous Harry Potter and tried to befriend him.

But...

failed.

Harry didn't even bother to shake his hands so I giggled. Kind of loudly.

Apparently, that was all it took for Draco to not talk to me for days.

Harry took that as a good sign, and somehow, we became friends.

*Flashback over*

A small giggle escaped my lips as I thought of my past memories. It was so much better and easier then. It was all about who had the coolest broom, and who has the cutest pet. Not who is a pure blood, who's the richest, or who snogged the most girls.

My eyes lit up as I saw the familiar castle shine in the moonlight. The beautiful lake shimmered in front of the huge building. I could see stars twinkling in the night sky.

They remind me of a certain someone.

Deep blue eyes that others are intimidated by. But to me, I can see right through it.

Meanwhile, on the train-

"Potter, you really tried to sneak up and listen to our conversation?" Draco sneered while approaching Harry slowly.

"I wasn't trying to eavesdrop on you, Malfoy. I just wanted to make sure you weren't planning on doing something to Ame that would make you regret it." Harry replied, glaring straight into Draco's eyes.

"Since when did you care about my relationship with Amelia? Just to make it clear, that nickname is reserved for me only. Don't let me ever see you with her again. Here's a reminder so you don't make the stupid mistake again."

Whipping his wand out as he finished the last sentence.

"Petrificus Totalus!" Draco yelled while pointing his wand straight at Harry.

Harry was caught by surprise and couldn't do anything before falling to the ground.

                                                                             --

Walking with Hagrid to the castles, Harry scored a god-awful looking nosebleed that scared Amelia half to death.

"Oh, Harry! What happened to you?!" Amelia screamed as she saw the state Harry is in.

"Your favorite Slytherin did this to me," Harry muttered under his breath, "and you said he changed."

"HE DID NOT! WHO DOES HE THINK HE IS, HURTING MY FRIEND?!" Instantly, Amelia's face got red and she stomped away to find the culprit.

                                                                          --

Barging into the Great Hall, Amelia grabbed Draco by the collar of his expensive shirt and screamed.

"DRACO LUCIUS MALFOY! YOU ARE IN SO MUCH TROUBLE AND YOU BETTER EXPLAIN IT!"

Losing all his usual demeanor and confidence, Draco Malfoy gulped nervously and muttered.

"Fuck."

AN: How do you think Draco will explain himself to Amelia???

Behind the scenes:

Hagrid was busily checking the cameras he secretly installed in the train compartments with Dumbledore.

When he witnessed the fight break out between the two most charming boys of the fourth year.

*Drum roll*

He saved the clip to his camera roll.

Hagrid: Dumble, look at this clip of Harold and Blondie.

Dumble-door: Lmao, what are they fighting over about?

Hagrid: Some old stuff they've been fighting about since year one. Money, blood status, Amelia...

Dumble-door: Young love! What a beautiful thing, competition is key!

Hagrid: ...
