Recap:
"what was that?" kenjirou asked. "i've gotta drive you guys home then go to the adoption center."

"what REALLY?!" kenjirou asked while hurridly buckled himself and eita had just closed the door on the other side and did the same as kenjirou.
"Yeah! im so excited!" satori said while stopping lightly and starting the car. He quickly and carefully got out of the spot they were parked and drove eita and kenjirou home a little faster than legal.
About 20 minutes later satori was parked outside their house and started kindly shooing them out of his car. "Can you hurry i kind of have a soon-to-be a non parentless kid to get to, /hj" he half joked trying to hurry them out.
"alright, alright go get your kid" eita said pushing kenjirou towards their door while kenjirou had a sour look on his face due to the joke. Satori waved and hurridly drov off towards the adoption center where his Husband was waiting him.

"SORRY IM LATE!!" Satori heaved as he opened a door a little violently, out of breath from hurrying to the room. He opened the door to see his husband in a chair in front of a big desk with a social worker on the other side.
"Its fine, just sit down please." the social worker told him, and he obeyed sitting down in the chair next to his husband, entertwining their fingers.
"I was just telling your husband about the little girl you wanted to adopt and i've already went over living situations, finances and all that, i can repeat the information about the girl if you want or you can tell him while i go get her." the worker said while looking at Wakatoshi
"I can tell him" wakatoshi said while nodding at the woman.
"Alright! let me go get her." she said while shinning a bright smile at them and walking out of the room. Satori looked at wakatoshi expectantly.
"Shes a fragile girl, her parents were murdered while she was at pre K and had to come home and see them..like that so we need to be carefull with her, she also has a younger brother who was at the house when the incident happened. I'll tell you the other information later but thats what you need to know right now"
"..oh, are we g-" satori was about to speak but was interupted by the door opening.
"Aaalright! here she is!" the social worker said while holding the girls hand as she opened the door further and ushered the girl in the room.
"this is evelyn, evelyn this is Mr and Mr Ushijima." She said to her and she just looked down at her feet.
"Hi.." Satori said softly as he stood up and crouched infront of her. "How are you?"
Evelyn refused to speak to him and just kept looking at her feet.
"Sorry, she's just a bit... angry she should ease in t-"
"I won't go without him!" She finally spoke up a bit loud which startled satori.
"I'm sorry, i can take her out-"
"NO I WONT GO!" she started fussing a bit and the social worker took her out of the room and soon came back in the room and satori was sitting back on his chair.
"Sorry, she's stuck on going some place with her brother.."
"..we can take both- right?" wakatoshi said looking at satori.
"yeah, i mean im fine with it"
"..Are you sure? I mean taking care of 2 can be overwhelming especially due to their circumstances."
"Yes! we are sure!" satori excitedly said squeezinf wakatoshis hand.
"alright.. i'll go get them" the social worker says as she walks out of the room again taking a bit longer than last time to get the kids but eventually comes back with a kids hand in each of hers and this time Eveyln looks a bit more social.
"Do you want to go introduce yourselves propertly this time?" the worker asked moving her hand that held eveyln toward the men. She slowly moved forward and approched satori.
"..Hi, im Evelyn.." she said quietly and then her brother ran up beside her.
"HI! MY NAME IS CONNOR!" the boy said excitedly. that took satori by suprize considering what hes been through but he wasnt about to mention it.
"Hi!" satori said happily "How are you feeling connor?" satori asked leaning his elbow on the arm of the chair looking interested.
"I'm feeling great!!" connor responded happily, jumping around going over to wakatoshi next and asking him random questions. then satori turned to evelyn.
"How are you feeling evelyn?" he asked. evelyn looked at him then down at the ground.
"I'm fine, i just dont want to be here anymore." she stated sadly, this hurt satoris heart.
"Well dont worry about that, we are gonna take care of you and your brother." satori said with a smile then turned his head to the woman at the desk who was now pulling packets if paper out if a drawer for the two men to sign.
(im skipping this because im pretty sure its just like contracts or something to confirm they adopted them and maybe like living arangments and finacial stuff i dont know lmao i also dont know if this is how adoptions really work but please go with it.)
Satori and wakatoshi walked out of the building with a kids hand in one of theirs and they walked out to their separate cats, satori had connor with him and wakatoshi had evelyn. They drove home and walked in the door together and showed the kids around the house.
