Alex and John continued dating all through college. When Alex finds out that his cousin died, John was there for him. And when John found out his mother died Alex was there for him.
Eventually, they get married. Martha's (John's sister) comes and she loves them so much. She brought her girlfriend Eliza with her. (Btw in this Martha is twins with John not irl tho)
Herc and Laf also get married and so do Peggy and Maria and Eliza and Martha and Angelica and Theo.
Alex and John adopt Philip, Angelica and Martha adopt frances, herc and Laf adopt Marie, Peggy and Maria adopt susan and Eliza and Martha adopt twins Angelica and Theo (male).
And they all live happily ever after
