General Hospital
8 A.M

"Trina, take these twice daily for the pain and keep that ankle elevated. Continue using the ice compress, and once the swelling drop, you can switch to a heat compress." Nurse Elizabeth Webber advised Trina. "Thank you, Ms. Webber."

She nodded before asking, "Does Cameron knows you're injured? Do you want me to tell him?" Trina shook her head. "No, ma'am, and no thanks, I'll get around to it." She helped Trina down and steadied her with her crutches.

Trina sat in the hospital lobby as she waited for her mom. "Trina?" she heard a male voice, looking in the direction she spotted Spencer. "holy shit, what happened?" He examined her injury and surroundings. "Are you okay?" it took her a minute, but she answered. "I'm fine; I just had an accident."

His eyes widened. "A car accident?" She shook her head. "clumsy accident, twisted my ankle." He bit his lip. "It's not broken, right? Have you seen a doctor?" He got up in search of a nurse, but Trina stopped him. "Calm down; Elizabeth already helped; I'm just waiting on my mom."

"I'm sorry," He apologized as he sat beside her. "I just don't like seeing you hurt." Trina scoffed. "I beg to differ."

There was a pause between the two.

"Trina, you can't keep holding that situation over my head. What did you expect me to do?" His voice hardened to avoid the shakiness he felt in his throat. "I expected you to be honest. I don't understand why you're so concerned; we're not friends, nor are we lovers, right?" He leaned back in the offense as another memory of the past haunted him.

"Trina, why are you acting like this?" He followed the female who stormed from the Halloween party in anger. "why are you playing with my feelings?" She suddenly burst as she turned to him. "wh-" she cut him off, "and don't play dense with me" He saw her lip tremble for a moment before she bit it. "cat, got your tongue? You almost kissed me three nights ago on the Terrace. You told me you were leaving Esme, that you both are growing apart, but now you're in there showing her off, can't keep your hands to yourself. What changed?!"

She watched as he combed his fingers through his hair. "I love Esme, Trina. We were never lovers; I don't understand this hostility." She scoffed. "Your actions said differently three nights ago. I never pursued you, Spencer; I just reacted to your 'misdeeds.'" She held up her quotation fingers before turning away and leaving.

Spencer blinked a few times as he snapped himself back to reality. "We're still human, though." He responded to her slick remark. Trina rolled her eyes. "Why don't you continue where you were going." He watched her grimace in pain as she moved her ankle.

"Here, let me help you." He grabbed a single chair and lifted her leg on it. "Trina?" Another voice called out.

The duo looked up.

"Jasper," Trina smiled, the action irritated Spencer. "you didn't tell me it was this bad," Jasper commented. Her smile softened. "yeah, the swelling got worse overnight. What are you doing here?"

He held up the daffodils. "My brother got into an incident a few nights ago. Just checking in on him." Jasper looked at Spencer before pointing the flowers at him. "Cassadine, am I right?"

Spencer stood up and placed his hands in his pocket. "Oh, you two know each other?" Jasper chuckled softly. "not exactly; our families, on the other hand, has a lot of history." Spencer glared at the male. "Trina, I will text you later; I should get going."

As Jasper left, Spencer turned to Trina. "don't get involved with him." She deeply exhaled, "Spencer..." "Do you not know the history of the Alcazar family?" He cut her off. She stared at him with a straight face.

"Trina," she finally heard her mother's voice. She began to get annoyed by her name.

"Hello, Spencer." Portia greeted solemnly. "Hello, Ms. Robinson." He replied as Trina stood up; she asked her mom to give her a moment before they left.

"I'll answer that question. I know his family's history to a certain degree. However, look at your family. Are you really in the position to judge?" Spencer's jaw dropped a bit at her comparison. He watched her walk away as he scoffed.

He turned to the receptionist's table, spotting the person he came to see. "Britt, hey!"

The brunette doctor turned to the younger male and greeted him with a hug and smile. "Spencer, what brings you here?" He rocked on his heel momentarily, "I needed to speak to someone about my father."

She rested her clipboard on the desk. "What about Nikolas? Did they find him?" Spencer shrugged. His father went missing five days ago. "Apparently there have been sightings."

As they spoke, Spencer noticed Jasper leaving the hospital. "Britt, may I ask, which brother of Alcazar has been admitted?"

Britt and Spencer stared at each other momentarily before she pulled him into a vacant private room. "Damien Alcazar was admitted. Why?"

Spencer massaged his cheek as he responded, "The youngest brother, Jasper Alcazar, came to visit him. He said his brother was in an incident a few days ago."

Britt nodded. "Yes, a stab wound, to be exact. It was infected upon arrival, so that wound was exposed and unattended before someone brought him in." Spencer stared at Britt. "You're thinking he's linked to your father, aren't you?"

"I didn't at first, I had another theory, but that doesn't make any sense compared to what I'm thinking." Spencer began to pace.

"There's a known rivalry between my family and there's. The timeline fits! Damien and Jasper come to Port Charles, and months later, my uncle Sonny is targeted. A month after that, my father was threatened. Now, almost a week ago, my father is missing, and Damien is hospitalized for what can be categorized as defense wounds."

Britt nodded but caressed the male shoulders. "it's plausible, but listen to me, Spencer, don't act on impulse right now. This is a dangerous game." He nodded. "I got you, and believe me. I'm on your side to find information." He nodded again before exhaling. "go home, get some rest; you look drained. Your father is fine, trust and believe me...I know Nikolas."
