Buck is Back

Bucks pov

I go into Melanys room while she's coloring on a paper, she's so adorable "Hey Mel's." I smile and she looks up.

"Daddy!" She jumps up and hugs me.

I lift her up onto my hip "Guess where we're going?"

"Whewe?" She's says in her cute little voice. She has trouble pronouncing her R's and to me that's adorable.

"We're going to Bobby and Athena's for dinner, I think Harry and May will be there." I tell her and a smile beams on her face.

"Yay!" She shouts and I ate her down to get her coat.

"Dada!" I hear her say.

"Yes?" I run in and she struggles to put on her boots.

"Help?" She shakes her foot as her boot hangs off her foot.

"Of course." I help her get her shoe on and I throw her in the air catching her as she giggles.

I slip on her coat and buckle her into her car seat.

"Okay, we gotta pick up Aunt Maddie first is that alright?" I asked strapping her in.

"Auntie Mads!" She throws her hands up smiling.

"Alright then." I shut the door and go to pick up Maddie.

"Hey, Buck! Mel's." Maddie tickles Melany and she laughs again and I smile "someone's excited."

"I think she's really excited to see Eddie." Buck laughs and starts to drive to Athenas.

I held Melanys hand as we rang the door bell. Athena answered.

"Hey you made it!" Athena says.

"Thanks for having us." I replied and when we walk down the stairs and everyone jumps out.

"Surprise!"

Melany jumps and whimpers being startled by the noise and hides behind my legs "Hey, Hey its okay baby." I lift her up and she buries her face in my chest.

"Scawy." She whimpers.

"Hey look! It's Eddie." Her face lightens up and she leaps into his arms.

"Hey kiddo." Eddie holds her and she smiles.

The party was pretty fun most of the time when I saw Melany run over to me with a paper in her hands.

"Whoa, what's this."

"Very sweet Christopher and Mel's. Thank you." I feel my heart melt at there caring endearment.

The party goes on and I go to talk to Bobby for a bit.

"They are sending me the paperwork in the morning and you will officially be back. How does that feel?" Bobby asked.

"I'm just glad it's over." I smile feeling optimistic "I uh hated not being with you guys."

I feel a tug on my pants and I look down and see little Melany looking up at me.

"Dada up up." She lifts her arms and I pick her up and she's rests her head on my shoulder falling asleep.

"Yeah we missed you too. Be nice if we had the whole team back together."  Bobby continues.

"Thanks agian, and I just don't mean the party. Thank you for being there. The surgery's haven't been the easiest."

"No problem Buck we always there for you and her." Bobby smiles.

I then feel this sharp pain in my chest but I just brush it off.

I start to cough "Also everything with Mel's." I cough even more.

"No problem Buck."

"My *cough* ex girlfriend." I clear my throat and try to make sure Melany is secure man she's so adorable when she sleeps.

"She doesn't wasn't the right fit for you. You'll find someone new."

I continue coughing even more "sorry um."

"Daddy..." Melany stirs in her sleep.

When I continue coughing I saw blood appear on my hand.

"Buck?" I heard Bobby say

"Daddy?"

Suddenly everything went black

In honor of Buck surviving the lightning strike I decided to make a book of most of the events Buck experienced. Like the Mudslide, Tsunami, and ect
