Pov : Third person.

He stared at the frame that he had grab from inside the box earlier --- a picture that is appeared with the twins, and there mother, giving a smile. Shadow curve a smirk.

Then he lay the picture-frame down on the nightstand, just beside his bed.

Shadow back off, stepping back close to the door, to take a good-look on his new bedroom. he let out an small sigh, placing his hands on his hips and flash a smile, his fangs showing off on the side.

"Finally.. done." he murmured.

Shadow step out of the room, after that long minute of moving all his stuff out.

He walked down on the stairs, where he found his twin brother, Mephiles. whos helping there mother. he was two minutes, and ten seconds older to Shadow. yet, the younger one was more mature than the older.

"Can i help?" The red-stripe hedgehog ask, walking towards them.

The black-furred-female hedgehog turned to faced Shadow. "Oh no hunny, its fine" his mother gave a smile.

Her name was Mary. The mother of the twins. A single mother who took care of both of them. alone. she is the father also, of the family. They never really had the chance to meet there real father, since he left before they were even born --- so it was Mary responsibility to take care of her own childrens.

"Go take a rest, i know your tired" Shadow nods, he indeed needs one, his back was aching due to crouching so much so he thought of following his mother order instead of being stubborn.

"Thank you mother" He gave a smile, before flopping down at the couch nearby.

...

"Im so hungry" Mephiles mumbled under his breath. Shadow only rolled his eyes, and continued to read a book.

"Dinners ready!" There mother shouted across the room.

"Yess!" He exclaimed, jumping off the couch.

Shadow shook his head, before placing his book down on the table.

He turned to the kitchen. his mother was setting up the table, while Mephiles alreadly sitting down. "Thats looks delicious Mom!" Mephiles complimented his mother cooks.

Mary gave a chuckle, giving a light pat to him while she pass behind him. "Thank you hunny" she replied. "Always for my pretty mom"

Shadow sat down beside his twin, grabbing the fork and knife, to cut a slice of the roast beef.

"So, someone excited?" Mary sat down, and take a look at the twins. "For what?" Mephiles raise a brow, --- munching on his food. "For school silly" She replied, starting to get a slice.

"Oh, yeah-" The green eyed hedgehog mumbled, continue to eat his food.

Silents passes, but not the noise of there plates which the forks is causing. Mary let out an sighed, and frowned.

"Im sorry-" There mother said, looking down to avoid eye-contact to her own kids --- who both look at her as soon after she said that so suddenly. Whereas she was so cheerful earlier. "-I know you two don't want to move away, but im doing this for you two"

"No- Mom, its fine" Mephiles softly said, planting a small smile. "Im sorry Hunny, i know you don't want to leave your friends-"

"Mom its fine, really." he assured, "I can still contact them you know" he continued.

"We understand Mother, don't worry" Shadow added.

Mary smiles widely, "Thank you my lovelies for understanding me" They smiled back.

"Im so lucky i have kids like you two" Mephiles laugh, while the other only scoffed then continued to eat. "We are lucky too that we have a mom like you, mom" The older said it back.

...

"Night Bro" Said mephiles, taking a look at the younger. "night." he replied, looking back at the older. Before both of them stepping inside there bedroom's.

Shadow place his book down. --- closing the blinds, put on a alarm, then finally lay down at his bed. --- He close his eyes, slowly drifting to sleep.
