I went out of the basketball court, stretching my arms. I didn't sleep well last night. Whenever I close my eyes.. I hear the exact sounds I heard back then. I see the exact view of the destroyed buildings. How long will I stay like this? I tear up every time.. Only music saves me. What do I do..

"Oh my goodness, Yuzuru! Look at you!" Coach ran to me and held my face, looking at my eyebags. "You're.. a mess!"

"Don't overreact, coach. I'm fine.." I said, though it's obvious that I'm not. But I'll be fine soon. Probably.

"Anyway Yuzu, remember coach Tsuzuki?"

Coach Nanami asked me outside the evacuation center. She called me earlier, telling me that she has good news. Maybe this would be very nice since the disaster really brought me down.

"Syoichiro Tsuzuki? Yes, my coach back when I was in elementary! What about him?" I answered, indeed curious about the news.

"Well," Coach inhaled deeply, crossing her arms. She watched the people pass by the two of us as she stayed quiet for a moment. "He wants to take you to his rink. I mean, the rink where he trains his new students."

My eyes shone in ecstasy. I can train again? But I never knew there's a rink available here in Sendai at this moment? Perhaps it wasn't destroyed?

I grinned at coach and almost jumped in awe. "Really!? Ah, it's not damaged? I mean, the Ice Rink Sendai is very damaged, so–"

"It's not located here, Yuzuru."

Before I could pour out all the excitement in me, coach cut me off, having the giddy feeling fade instantaneously. It's not located here, Yuzuru.

"T-Then.." I stammered, gulping. "Is it.. far?"

"It's… located in Higashi-Kanagawa."

"Higashi.." I whispered and looked down. I find it far. Well, it is far. I don't wanna leave them here just for my dreams. I might as well give–

"If you're thinking about giving up, that's a very bad decision, Yuzuru."

I gazed up to coach once again with widened eyes—How did she know? I laughed, shaking my head.

"Of course not." I brought back the same smile earlier. "I'll go with him. You'll be with me, right?"

"Of course, Yuzu," She ruffled my hair, "Though I might have to do some work, so I'll leave you with coach Syoichiro for some time."

"Mhm! I'll tell my parents about this!" I bowed at coach and she laughed.

"Sure. He'll—I mean we'll fetch you tomorrow early in the morning. Alright? Go on and work with your muscles." Coach Nanami gave me that smile, jouncing her head.

"Yes!" I excitedly exclaimed, bowing again.

"Alright, Yuzu, are you all packed up?" Coach Syoichiro grinned at me. I missed him very much, it's been a while.

They actually fetched me early in the morning. It's 5 am.

"Coach, it's not like you're expecting me to bring lots of things! Only training essentials right? It's not like it's very far.." said by the boy who thinks it's far enough.

I gripped my backpack tight and looked at my mom who is behind me, as well as my sis. Mom placed her hands on my shoulders, smiling at me. Only a smile, but I knew she's telling me to take care. I nodded and waved at the two of them before going with my coaches.

Today, my family will finally move out of the evacuation center. It's saddening that I won't be able to help them with our things, but mom said it's fine.
