Jaune opened his eyes as they started darting around. The black irises covering any white in them as his pale skin glowed because of the bright light. Jaune slowly sat up looking down at the covers of the hospitals bed that were wrapped around his legs. The doors opened as a man walked into the room wearing a captain's uniform.
Keys: Major Arc.
Keys sat down next to the hospital bed. He had a worried face.
Keys: Im sorry to inform you but.
Jaune: Where is it?.
Jaunes faint voice startled Keys.
Keys: Where is what?.
Jaune: My body mass. My hair. Why do I feel so. Different.
Keys: What I am about to tell you will affect you.
Jaune looked up at the captain with a lifeless glare.
Jaune: Why place me in that machine and give me false dreams about a war and my daughter as a Spartan II?.
Keys: It needed to be done to study your brain waves.
Jaune: You think I am a lab rat?.
The captain sighed and then looked down.
Keys: We cannot allow you to be depressed as it leads you to. Low mental issues. And the destruction of us all. I knew Wiess's mother all too well. So, I know your greave. But.
Jaune: But?.
Keys: But we cannot allow you to carry on with this and then become a threat to us all. The way you killed those men scared our head of office. Your commander already signed the transfer documents. You will stay out of this war and have a family. Do not worry. We will fix our look. This war no longer neads you.
Jaune formed a fist as Keys stood up and walked out of the door.
Keys: Surdate him and begin project peace keeping.
Doctors and Nurses walked in and injected Jaune with a substance that made him feel woozy.
[Years later]
The alarm went off waking everyone up who was asleep in the house.
AI: Good morning, Misses Jenesa Castle. The date is the twenty third of April. Time is 09:00.
A woman with blond hair and blue eyes and got up from bed as she was still sleepy. She got out of bed and placed her white gown over her along with her white bunny slippers.
AI: Mister Castle had to leave quickly and made sure that the dog went to the vet for his annual shot.
Jenesa: Wake the kids for me Carbine.
AI: Yes mam.
Janesa started getting dressed in her uniform for work as her kids were dressing. She got in her Ford Raptor V8 and waited for the kids.
The door opened and three teenagers exited dressed in their school uniforms.
Janesa: You're going to be late.
The kids hopped in the truck, and she drove off.
Janesa: So, Megan, Robbert, Bobby. How is school so far?.
Megan: Boring.
Robbert: The PE lecturer expects us to use assault rifles immediately out of the bat.
She looked in the mirror at her kids' faces. Megan was a cat faunas, Robbert and Boby where both half faunas half human.
Janesa: Bob dear why are you so quite?.
