Kate and Lee

Numbers and Letters

Lee's POV:

Kate is the funniest and the best friend ever but there's something going on with me when I'm around her. I'm happy but at the same time nervous at the same time. Is this normal? Is this a good thing? N-no I'm just overreacting it's not going away if I over react. Should I tell my sister about it? I think I shouldn't tell her yet. I can handle it, right?

"I'm home!" I yelled out. My sister walks down the stairs. "Welcome back." She says goes to me. "Are they home?" "No, they had to go not long ago. They said they'll try to get you something." She says leaning on the kitchen counter. "Oh alright." I said disposed. "I'll be in my room if you need me." I said going up the stairs. The house is mainly me and my sister, Lisa. 

Our parents aren't here much but they try to come to the house as much as possible and Lisa tries to make time for us to get out of the empty house. I got used to being here when she had to go. I open the door to my room. Set my bag down and walked to my bed then falling down head first. 

I turned to the ceiling. I sighed. Then I remembered about the note. I springed upright and grabbed the folded note. I unfolded to show a number and some writing. I read. 'This is what I wanted to ask before the bell rang.-Kate' with a smile next to her name. 

"Who's that from?" I jumped. "Oh my gosh Lisa, don't scare me like that." I said. "Sorry." she said comly. "When did you get here?" I asked putting the note flipped where she couldn't see it. "Since you got up here also your door was open as well." She said still at the doorway. "Can you go I got th-" "Ok but next time close your door for you know reasons." She said closing the door leaving me clueless. 

What does she mean as 'you know what reasons.' I pushed it aside then went ahead and grabbed my phone and the note. Punches the numbers into my contrast. With the phone next to my ear. She answered and I said, "Hello."
