Theo sat in his car watching Ella's window. She twirled around looking in the mirror, the bodice of her blue dress hugging her upper half beautifully. It was from that one contact with Ella in the hallway that Theo knew he had to have her, she was perfect in every way possible. To Theo she was clearly fragmented on the inside but he could fix that, he could show her things that she had never seen before take her on adventures and mend those broken pieces that she couldn't put back together on her own, she needed help and he was going to be her saviour.
But a lass that was all in Theo's head, in fact it was him that was broken, his mind fragmented and scattered in the darkest and unkempt corners of his psych.
You see Theo is growing ill, his mental state has weakened over the years and he can just about separate reality from his own messed up delusions. He was mad, as mad as a hatter, but he was able to conceal it so well.
"All the best people are," he murmured, reciting a quote from Alice in Wonderland. He looked back up at the window, the lights had turned off and there was movement from behind the curtains. He peered into the rearview mirror as a dark blue car parked outside Ella's house and Matthew got out. Theo tightened his grip on the steering wheel, any tighter and his knuckles would burst out of his skin.
Ella ran down the stairs and hugged Matthew who opened the door for her and ushered her in. The wind pushed her dress up slightly exposing the skin on her thigh.
Oh lord, he murmured closing his eyes and opening them back up again.
By this point they had driven off. Theo started the ignition and kept at a steady distance away from them, careful to not get any closer and risk detection. He was thankful that it was quiet at this time. They stopped behind a VUE cinema and parked in the car park, Theo followed and parked a little further away.
"I can't wait to kill him." laughed Theo, biting his fingernails in anticipation. A nervous habit that he had picked up in his early youth, a habit that resulted from the mental abuse he endured by his father. Theo placed his head on the steering wheel, the memories proven to overwhelming for him and sighed deeply, looking back up and witnessing his woman in the arms of another man. This made Theo's blood boil, he gritted his teeth and pulled on his hood, exiting the car.
Keeping at a respectable distance Theo followed them into the cinema and glared at Matthew who was handing the popcorn over to Ella, guiding her into the cinema, his hand on the small of her back. He could just about make out the screen room that the film was showing in and proceeded to follow.
Crap, he snarled as he realised he needed a ticket to get in, nonetheless Theo was a mastermind at his age and could easily worm his way around tricky situations, molding it till it suits him and he eventually getting what he wants. He walked up to the woman standing guard
"I really need to use the bathroom." he cried jumping from one foot to another feigning incontinence. The lady looked him over, clearly not believing his lie. She stared at him for a moment to long and Theo grew impatient, fighting the urge to drag this bitch to the back and snap her neck.
"Fine, just be quick." She said moving out the way so Theo could run past, he ran through searching for screen 5 his eyes landing on it hungrily. He pushed the doors open and walked into the dark room, Kevin Bacon's face showing on the EE adverts.
He searched the room his eyes adjusting to the darkness and landing on the familiar beauty sitting next to that hideous beast. He walked up the steps passing Matthew controlling the urge to stab the man in his temples killing him instantly. He smirked and looked at Ella who glanced away from him.
He sat behind them and leaned forward , inhaling the vanilla scent of her shampoo mixed in with the faint scent of her perfume. Complete and utter euphoria. He could stay like that for years. He pulled back immediately as Ella leaned into Matthew.
