As I limped to MI,I felt my eyes slipping back to their original appearance.

Alec was sat in reception and was spouting some excuse for why he couldn't do PE for a while due to the runes that were peeking out of his jumper top.

I silently wished that I wasnt immortal stuck forever at 19 as I have to keep repeating school and dealing with stupid guys who thought they were better than THE Magnus Bane, high warlock of Brooklyn.
I have had 365 years of having to deal with bullies and dicks like Valentine.

The demon receptionist asked me if I'd had another run in with a pole  and I just glared. She clearly didnt know that I knew that she was a demon sent by Lilith to the school to eliminate all us downworlders and shadowhunters.

Unfortunately, Lilith is not the most original when it comes to plots. The only reason there was a space open for nurse is because I murdered the last eidolon demon that had taken up possession of our nurse/doctor.

As she was sticking her fingers in my eyelids, I noticed a parabatai rune on his skin, so I mouthed at my little cutie, OOOOOOPPPPPPSSSSSSS, I mean Alec "hows the rune on your shoulder?"
I was going to ask more but I suddenly had an uncomfortable situation going on in my mouth. The fucking nurse had stuck her tentacles in my mouth without my permission.
I had to settle for dancing sparks behind me spelling out that he would need it.

He was gaping at my eyes so I knew that they had returned to normal. In order to aggravate him, I slowly winked at him. It worked! He went all red and stalked out of the reception in a tizzy. Suddenly I felt lightheaded and remembered that I hadnt eaten for like 72 hours. This is bad. Very bad. My eyes then caught a piece of hot pink paper on the floor. I quickly swept my eyes over it and it said "You are welcome at my table at any time you want Cutie! From Hottie"
I had to visibly stop myself from having a panic attack right there and then. What was I supposed to respond to that?

Later on that day,I was slumped down in history waiting for all my fellow sixth years to trickle in, realise that I was in their class and leave me in my own personal bubble of seats. As I was drifting off,I noticed that the seat next to me was not empty as I thought it was. I swung around to tell the occupant to do one and fuck off. I got as far as "hey, why dont you........"when I came face to face with the most lucious mop of hair I've ever seen. Obviously excluding my own. Ya know cause no-one has better hair than me.

"Why don't I what?"he answered before looking at me. "Why are you staring at me?"

My epically awesome answer was "why are you not staring at you? Okay,uuuurrrrr that wasn't the best come back ever so uuuurrrrr lets pretend that never uuuurrrrr happened uuuurrrrr yeah." Mentally face palming,I looked at the girl that had just sat down opposite me. By mundane standards, I guess she was kinda pretty if it was not for the runes that covered most of her neckline,legs and torso. I could tell that she was glamoured because her outfit was wavering between shadowhunter gear and a extremely tight mini dress with stilettos.
"Hey Izzy. Didnt expect to see you here."Alec exclaimed. Then in an extremely excited tone,said "is Jace here as well!? I really missed him. You know about my ......... relationship with him!"

Of course someone so hot is going to have a boyfriend.
