I worried about how Magnus might have reacted to my note and whether or not he'd take me up on the offer.

Of course my worries were instantly eradicated when I sat next to him in History. It was blatantly clear that no-one was going to occupy the seats either next to him or around him.
I instantly felt sorry for him and made a beeline for the seat next to the glittery god himself. Obviously he was used to being surrounded by empty seats as I hadnt nearly been sat down a minute before he was telling me to fuck off. I took great personal offence to that before reminding myself that he hadn't seen it was me.
He turned to look me in the eye and stopped short in the middle of a sentence.

He got as far as "hey, why dont you........"when he came face to face with me.

"Why don't I what?"i answered curiously before looking at him again. "Why are you staring at me?"
His epically awesome answer was "why are you not staring at you? Okay,uuuurrrrr that wasn't the best come back ever so uuuurrrrr lets pretend that never uuuurrrrr happened uuuurrrrr yeah."

He was obviously uncomfortable so I let the subject drop. Then Izzy plopped down in the seat opposite Magnus.

That shocked me beyond belief.

By mundane standards, I guess she was kinda pretty if it was not for the runes that covered most of her neckline,legs and torso. I could tell that she was glamoured because her outfit was wavering between shadowhunter gear and a extremely tight mini dress with stilettos.
"Hey Izzy. Didnt expect to see you here."I exclaimed excitedly. Then in an extremely hopeful tone,said "is Jace here as well!? I really missed him. You know about my ......... relationship with him!"
Talking about my almost crush on him in second grade. And that he's my borderline suicial parabatai.

I visibly saw Magnus slump even further down in his chair like the only reason he had for any form of posture has just been crushed like a bug.

"Hey Izzy, do you wanna eat in the cafeteria with me today? Oh, and Magnus as well?" I asked , it finally dawning on me that she won't have anyone to eat with.
"Finally! I thought you'd never ask! Sure, I guess." She exclaimed, a little too loud.

I was suddenly having second thoughts about inviting Magnus to eat lunch with me in the cafeteria because I didn't know if Izzy would like him.
She might wanna correct his dress style and I don't know if his ego could take that much style advice.

"Oh, and Alec, me likey!" She proclaimed, pointing at Magnus. She then tried to include him in a coversation. Which didn't go well. "Where did you find those converse? I've been trying to get my hands on a pair for AGES!"
His answer to the question was" A shop now shut the fuck up."
That resulted in Isabelle stomping off to the other side of the room in a flounce and a cloud of expensive perfume. I braced myself for another boring lesson that I didn't know the question answers to. Clearly I misunderstood Magnus's knowledge basis.
