Chapter 2: Familly reunion

{Y/n pov}

I was riding along in the ambulance taking Tara to the hospital.
I was still in shock from what i walked into and i want to say i'm glad i got there when i did but then again i didn't really do anything.
It only felt right calling Tara's sister Sam, even they haven't been on the best terms lately.
I grabbed my phone and scrolled through my contacts looking for Sam's.
Just as i was about to call Tara's heartbeat monitor starting beeping faster and Tara started crying out in pain.
Apperantly some off the stiching had snapped and the wound had reopened..
I quickly took her hand into a mine.
"Hey Tara, it's going to be ok." i said with a comforting smile.
"Y/n this hurts so fucking bad!" she cried out.
"If it helps squeeze my hand as hard as you can." i replied attempting to calm her down.
She then started squeezing my hand like there was no tomorrow.
"You're doing great Tara! Hang on a little longer." i said.

-------------------------------------Few hours later----------------------------------

I was waiting outside Tara's hospital room waiting for the doctor's to be ready.
I let my head fall back against the wall processing what had just happend.
After 10 more minutes the doctor finally came out.
"And?" i ask immediately

"The surgery went well and there's a high chance she'll survive." the doctor said with a kind smile.
I let out a sigh of relief hearing Tara was going to live.
"unfortunately you will have to come back tomorrow to visit her since she needs to rest." the doctor added.
"I understand, thank you." i replied giving the doctor a smile before i left.
I called Sam on my way home since even tho it was 1am it felt right to let her know.
"Hey Y/n, it's been a while how are you?" she asks.
"Sam, Tara got attacked." i replied.

"W-what? Is she ok?" she asks her voice changing in tone.
"She's ok. She just got out off surgery and will survive but needs to rest." i replied.
I could hear a reliefed sigh from the other side.
"I know you guys aren't on the best terms right now but i'm sure she would appreciate it if you came over." i suggested hopefull.

"I'm on my way." she replied.
Just as i was about to say something else she hung up the call.

I just rolled my eyes and kept walking home.

--------------------------------------The next day-----------------------------------

I was sitting on the front lawn of the school talking with my friends as we were waiting for sheriff Judy to ask us about the ghostface incident.

"Look with all the things going on i think we should take our relationship to the next level." Chad said sitting down on a free bench along with his girlfriend Liv.
"He wants me to accept his 'find my fam' request." Liv quickly clarrified.
"It's the smartest thing to do with a wannabe killer on the loose. You know where i am and i know where you are." Char argued.
"I wouldn't do it Liv. We know he can hack so you should make yourself harder to find. Turn of your location, tape off your phone camera you should make yourself harder to find." Wes lectured.
"Thank you very much Edward Snowden." Chad joked causing the whole group to laugh.
"I actually just got interrogated by your mother about Tara's attempted murder that was a lot off fun." Chad added.
"What do you expect Ghostface is back." Amber says.
"The press still isn't saying Ghostface." Mindy argues.

"My mom doesn't want to cause a panic." Wes says.
"I'm sure they will get it out by the second or third killing." Mindy says.
"What the fuck Mindy!?" Amber yells looking over at Mindy with a disgusted look.
"Hey guys let's not forget that there hasn't even been a first killing yet because your boy saved the day." I chimed in.
"I'll be honest i forgot you where here." Amber said.
I just rolled my eyes.
