It had now been a year since the incident at Woodsboro.
My life was honestly going pretty good right now since me, Tara, Sam, Chad and Mindy had moved to New York in order to get away from the place we almost died. It was pretty nice since we had enrolled ourselves into a new college and we were slowly getting our life back on track.
We had also already made a few new friends those being: Anika, Quin and Ethan.
They were all pretty nice and we had grown into quite good friends.
However i did still prefer my old friends over them and would pick Tara,Chad and Mindy over them anyday.
Whilst Tara, Chad,Mindy and me were trying to continue our education Sam was working 2 low paying jobs in order to pay for the appartment her, Tara and Quin were staying at. Since the rest of us had no proper income Chad and i shared a school dorm room and Mindy had a solo dorm. Life was honestly pretty good right now. Speaking of which tonight was a long awaited halloween party.
Chad, Mindy and Anika were looking forward to it whilst Tara and i were kinda hesistant. Tara eventually got convinced to go which meant i was going aswel. It may sound weird but i have been following Tara around like a dog since i wanted to make sure she would be safe and had no more trouble in her life. "Bro Y/n, is the wall that interesting?" I hear Chad ask as i'm broken out off my thoughts.
"Sorry just thinking about stuff." i replied standing up from the couch. "Do these thoughts have to do with a certain brunette girl?" he asks with a smirk.
"Shut up." i replied opening the door and walking out. Chad followed behind me laughing. We then walked to College laughing and talking about what we were expecting for the day.
As we got to the entrance we were met with our friends already waiting for us there. Chad left me to go talk to Mindy so i went over to Tara. "You look tired.." Tara says, her smile changing into a worried expression.
"Don't worry i'm fine Tara." I replied with a smile. "You sure?" she asks sceptic.
I nodded and we then walked inside to our first class. I was quite happy since the first 2 hours we would all be together. This made it a little more bareable but it was still boring as hell. And what is the worst decision a teacher can make? Place friends next to eachother. Unfortunatly for him his seating plan wasn't that smart since to my right was Chad and to my left was Tara. Tara was nice to sit next to since she actually payed attention so she had noted you could use if needed and save u if u need to answer a question. Then Chad was just like every friend in high school and i loved it.
I'll be honest i can't remember the last time Chad and i haven't fucked around the entire time and actually listened. This was only possible because we were at the far back off the auditorium so the teacher could barely see what we were doing.
This also explains the reason i'm failing this class but i could care less this was one of those lessons that isn't really important... Ok nevermind it was Math.
Today however Chad and i actually started off by paying attention.
This didn't last long however since before we knew it Chad and i were doing our own thing in the back.
At the far back of the auditorium there was a small area that wasn't furnished since that was the entrance. So me and Chad the responsible students we are started having a fight in that area..
Yea i agree that wasn't the smartest idea we have had but whatever.
It's not like we were actually fighting we were just messing around tackling eachother. However our fun was quickly stopped when i accidentally pushed Chad into a spart stack of chairs.. Not only did this make alot of noise i also died laughing. The teacher didn't find it as funny as we did though since we were kicked out a moment later. Now instead of going to the principles office like we should have we started exploring the college.. We eventually stumbled acros an unoccupied laboratory..
"We should probably not be in here for our own safety." I suggested.
"Yeah that would be the smart choice." Chad replied. We then left and started exploring again. Eventually the bell rang and we headed back to the auditorium to go greet Tara and the rest of our friends. After that we went our seperate ways since we had no more classes together. The rest of the day was boring because of that.
After the bell rang indicating the lessons were over i basically sprinted over to Tara's class.
Yes i know which classes Tara has off the top of my head shut up.
After i got Tara we headed to Sam and Tara's shared appartment since that was where the costumes were kept. As we got there Sam wasn't too pleased about what we were doing.. "Tara, i can't believe you are going to a party after we almost died at one!" Sam lecured Tara. "Cmon Sam it was a year ago.." I chimmed in.
"Y/n, stay out of this!" Sam said in a not so friendly tone. "Sam, you can't live your life scared because of one night.. One fucking night!" Tara yelled. "You know what i can't deal with this right now i have a therapy session to get to." She said walking over to the door. "You better be here when i get back." Sam added before leaving.
"I assume we're still going?" i ask looking over at Tara. "Ofcourse we are!" Tara said walking over to her bedroom.
I followed her and watched as she pulled out the outfits from her closet.
"Here go change." she says throwing me and outfit. "Really? That bet was real?" i ask pointing to the outfit.
"Mhm." Tara hums with a smirk.
I just scoff before walking over to the bathroom.
To fill you in on the bet Tara and i made, Tara pulled me aside before our first period started saying she wanted to place a bet that if i got kicked out of the auditorium i would have to wear a dumb looking knight costume to the halloween party.. Sadly i lost the bet so now i'm gonna be going to the party looking like this:

I have to admit this looks dumb as fuck and Tara knew it cause the moment i stepped into the living room she started laughing.
"Yeah yeah i know." i replied rolling my eyes. After Tara contained her laughter which took way longer then it should have we set off to the party.
