AS THE YOUNGER GIRL WOKE UP, she heard the phone ring but she felt heavy.
Looking down she saw the boys arm over her and she turned into a blushing mess, then again hearing the phone her smile dropped.
She walked towards the phone making sure she wasn't going insane or imagining, but it rang..
She jumped for the intense ringing, it felt like someone was insisting she answered.
She grabbed onto the rusty black phone and heard the static
-hello?. She looked back to the door making sure she wasn't being messed with.
-Lee.
"-Oh shit!"
She gasped and quickly slammed it onto the case running towards the opposite wall.
She repeated on and on to her self "I'm going insane. It's a dream, it's a dream. Not a dream, a fucking nightmare!"
The boy woke up to see panicked Lee walking around and the phone ringing intensely. He heard it too..
He nodded telling Lee to pick it up and they both walked up to the phone
Heart beating quickly the girl grabbed the phone and put it to her ear.
-"Don't hang up."
-" We won't." Finney responded dryly
-"who is this?" She asked in worry
-"I don't remember my name, it's the first thing you loose." "You loose when?"
-"you know when."
She went quiet, they were going to die.
-"Wait, h-how do you know my name?" She began to stutter from the terror
-" You and I met occasionally, you were best friends with Robin. Everyone knew you. We took English together, we were seat partners, and Finney we met. Your arm was mint, you almost had me!"
-"Bruce?"
"Yeah-yeah my names Bruce!" She felt his smile over the phone
-"why did you call us.."
-"I'm glad it's you guys.."
It went quiet. Lee was trying to process what was happening and Finn understood. They could die, or they could live, and the thing is It's not their choice.
-"Lee?"
-"hmm?"
"There's a dirt section on the floor in the hallway where the tile is loose"
"Okay, okay.." she began to look around spotting the loose tile.
"Dig down underneath the foundation. I tried, but there wasn't enough time for me to dig up and out the other side" the boy instructed.
"Will I have enough time?."
" Hello? Yamada? Answer me Yamada! Fuck!" She panicked
The girl walked down the hallway, running her hand over her black hair checking each tile crack on the floor. A blue tile. It was loose. She began to pull it and Finney eventually began to help once he understood. He knelt down & began to dig as she continued to rip off the tiles.
"What did he say? You don't look okay.", Finney asked as he stared at the girl. " He didn't have enough time Finney. He died Finney, we are going to die as well.." "We're going to get out of here, we will beat him, I swear."
"How?! Not even Robin could."
"Lee-"
"We'll just find a way, don't worry.." He hugged her.
