"Well," Miu sat down onto the cold, metal chair of the shop. "I'd say that went pretty well! No suspicions as far as I can tell. We did pretty okay as a couple for two people who just started talking." Kaede nodded. "Here's to deception, I suppose." the two women klinked their cups together, laughing. Kaede clicked her nails on the table. "We're not supposed to do this, you know.." Miu grinned as she leaned back in her chair.
"I knowww, but you don't seriously expect us to go along with this if we know absolutely nothing about each other." Kaede shuffled in her chair and reached out for her milk tea, drops of water from the outside of the cup gliding down her fingers.
"I suppose you're right," she said with a sigh. "We did already buy the drinks." She took a sip. Miu peered into the blond's eyes as the other wasn't looking. An incredible blue stared back.
"Alright, let's start with the basics." Iruma took of her shades, revealing her almond shaped grey eyes. "I was born in Kyoto, I work for a coding company and dabble in robotics, aaaand I enjoy tuning into the occasional childrens television programme" Iruma shifted to a mock posh accent, making the other woman giggle lightly. Kaede took a breath.
"Um.. well, I'm a professional pianist, but I play many other orchestral instruments. Usually it's enough to get me by, playing venues and such, but when it's not, I work part time as a music teacher at the middle school." Miu grabbed her hands.
"Hey, you do have long fingers.. I noticed that earlier, it's no wonder you're into music." Kaede slipped her hands from Miu's grasp, blushing. Miu realized what she did, and looked away in embarrassment. "Boundaries, right. Sorry.. I'm a bit of a touchy person, haha..." Kaede smiled and grabbed her Miu's hand again.
"You just surprised me, is all. Thank you." She stood up and gestured around the shopping center they were sitting in. "Wanna look around a bit?" Miu looked back up at her and grinned. "Sure."
Miu scanned the shopping center, careful to catch every store. where should they go first? Miu squeezed Kaede's hand lightly. they had decided to hold hands in more public areas like this, just in case. They were supposed to be married, after all. Suddenly, it clicked. Married. Miu turned to her falsely betrothed and pointed toward a store in the distance. Kaede was perplexed. "A ring store? You're quite forward." "Well, we're supposed to be married, right? it wouldn't hurt to buy some rings to sell it more." Kaede laughed. "We're only going to see Dr Chinen once a week, we can just use our own." Kaede went quiet in thought for a moment before picking back up. "although, I don't have any wedding rings... perhaps you're right." Miu grinned and started towards the jeweler.
The two women walked out of the store an hour later, equiped with a small bag containing opal and topaz rings fit to each of them.Kaede led Miu through the shopping center until they reached a fountain. She sat Miu down in front of it. "Here," she said, extending her arm out to the other, topaz ring in hand. "Your ring, m'lady." Miu giggles as she slipped it onto her finger. She reached into the bag and pulled out the opal ring. "And yours." Miu stood back up to face the other woman. "Till therapy do us part." Kaede smiled. "Till therapy do us part."(a.n.- I wrote these 2 chapters in 8th grade and freshman year respectively, I'm now a sophomore and I'm not that into Danganronpa anymore, but I do kind of want to continue this! it might be an empty promise though..)
