Episode 4: 透明人間の怒り！The Invisible Man's Rage!
CUT TO inside Chiang Kai-Shek's base somewhere in Taipei. One of Chiang's commanders and the KMT Official are having a discussion.
KMT' Official: I'm sorry, I'm no longer capable of attacking those four. They seem too difficult to defeat. They've found many of our weaknesses.
Commander (same one from Episode 1): I understand that, but we need somebody to attack them.
KMT' Official: What about some of our soldiers? They may be capable of doing the job.
The Commander thinks for a bit.
Commander: ...it may work. But you need to lead them to Meta Knight; and to give them directions on what to do. Especially with this next experiment.
He grabbed a test tube with a clear liquid.
Commander: Nao, grab a soldier. We need to test this.
KMT' Official: Alright.
CUT TO Tokyo. We see a shot of a tall building. Then inside Mitsuo's apartment. We see Mitsuo sitting on a chair next to a desk. He is talking to Meta Knight.
Mitsuo: So that person that you four were fighting? Well his name is Naomichi Suzuki.
M.K: What? You know him?
Mitsuo: Heh, not only that, he was one of my favorite comrades.
Meta Knight was in disbelief.
M.K: So he was on Japan's side? Why did he join the Kuomintang?
Mitsuo: Those questions are yet to be answered. He just left one day, and never returned. I never knew that he would just betray Japan like that. His own homeland!
Mitsuo looks at the window.
M.K: Do you feel betrayed?
Mitsuo: ...yeah. Maybe I do feel betrayed. But... I moved on.
M.K: I know how you feel.
Mitsuo: I'd rather you get back to your apartment. The others may worry about you.
M.K: Alright, thank you for your time.
Meta Knight exits the apartment. Mitsuo continues to look out the window. His hands behind his back.
~Mitsuo's Flashback~
We see what looks like a battlefield. (Japan has been fighting the KMT a year prior.) It's calm, quiet, like if they finished fighting. Mitsuo has an injured knee and Naomichi is carrying him.
Nao then puts Mitsuo to rest on a tree.
Nao: Stay here. I'll find help.
Mitsuo: Are you crazy?! The nearest town is kilometers away! And you are just leaving me here?!
Nao: Would you rather die from your injuries?
Mitsuo looked at him.
Nao: No, I didn't think so.
Nao starts to run out to get help.
Mitsuo: But are you sure?
Nao smiles.
Nao: For you, a thousand times over!
Then he runs to get help.
~End of Flashback~
Mitsuo (to himself): Within an hour he saved my life. I'll never forget that.
We zoom in on an old photo of Nao and Mitsuo pointing at the camera.
