HOLY SH*T THIS MONTH WAS HECTIC! If you were wondering where this chapter was all this time, I was getting an ass beating from the dreaded entity known as "responsibility"...

Anyway, last chapter I saw a few comments on about Haruto's fusion "counterpart" is female.

Morning had arrived and both Yuya and Haruto were now in the dining room eating Yuya's mom's homemade pancakes. Oh and speaking of Yuya's mom, Sakaki Yoko, looked really young. It seemed that she liked being called that as Haruto could tell from her reaction when he pointed it out to her.

"So, Haruto" Called another person in the dining table. Shiunin Sora, the short blue haired boy from yesterday was also here. Apparently Yuya's mom had a soft spot for cute things... Much to Yuya's dismay.

Haruto turned to the blue haired boy "Yeah?" Sora pointed at him with the fork he was using "Yuya told me you had a powerful Fusion monster" this made the silver haired boy blink "Uh yeah, I do. Why?" He then backed away when Sora suddenly got in his face. I was about to punch him, but I managed to catch my arm before it was raised, I didn't really want to ruin Yoko-san's furniture.

"Can I see it?" He had a big grin on his face and eyes that oddly sparkled, Haruto smiled nervously "U-uh sure... Why not?".

Haruto quickly took out Five God Dragon from his Deck and gave it to Sora, who now had his eyes widened "Whoah... Five God Dragon... How or where did you get this?!" Haruto scratched the back of his head and smiled sheepishly "Well... My dad gave it to me as a reward for learning Fusion summoning" this made Sora turn to him "You know Fusion summoning?"

Haruto chuckled "Of course I do, I have a Fusion monster in my Deck. I'd be stupid not to know it" Sora laughed along with him "Haha! That's true!" He then looked all smug "It's good to know that someone else knows the superior summoning method"

Yuya who was listening in on this conversation frowned "Sora, there is no superior summoning method, anything can happen in a Duel after all" Sora scoffed before gorging himself on his pancakes.

Yuya shook his head as Haruto returned his card back to his Deck "He's right you know. I'm currently learning Ritual summoning" this made both boys turn to him "Ritual? Isn't that a bit outdated nowadays?" Sora bluntly commented.

"While I wouldn't exactly word it the way he did..." Yuya slightly glared at Sora for the rude comment, before turning to Haruto "I kinda agree with him. Why Ritual Haruto?"

Haruto humed as he leaned back "My mom used Ritual summoning back when she was an active Duelist..." He then had a sad smile on his face "Seeing her Duel as a kid made me want to try Ritual summoning...." Haruto frowned "But then..." He looked down at his pancakes sadly.

Yuya noticed this and frowned "You don't have to say anything else, Haruto" the silver haired boy smiled at him gratefully "Thanks..." Sora at least had the decency to look ashamed and smiled apologetically "Ah, sorry if I hit a sore spot Haruto..." Haruto smiled at him "It's alright Sora"

After the boys had their breakfast, they had arrived back at You-Show.
