Fourth found that shocking. He just nodded and entered the classroom since he didn't want to embarrass her in front of everyone.
Fourth agreeing to be Pear's boyfriend made her so pleased; it was like a dream come true. But, Pearl's cheerful smile quickly became melancholy as soon as he left and entered the classroom like nothing had happened.
Fourth sat in his chair and felt a dilemma. He knew he couldn't love that girl as deeply as he loved Gemini, thus he was unable to accept her, but he wanted to try dating so he could forget Gemini.
Do you really like her, Ford asked Fourth as he sat next to him.
Fourth replied with a smile and said; since he was now well-liked, he should start dating. This is all I ever wanted.
Ford was aware that Fourth still liked Gemini and was aware that Fourth was lying.
However Ford didn't understand why Fourth suddenly wanted to date a girl he didn't even know.
Fourth and Pearl eventually started texting and calling each other and even began sitting next to each other in the classroom but Fourth was unable to forget Gemini all this time.
Fourth received a text message from Pearl on Friday night asking to go on a date. Since Saturday was a holiday, Fourth said, "Okay, let's go," without any hesitation. They made the decision to bicycle at Bang Karchao.
Pearl felt very excited for the date. She wanted to appear her best as it was their first date. Fourth arrived 10 minutes after Pearl got there.
Pearl waved with joy as she spotted Fourth approaching her. Fourth merely grinned.
Fourth retracted his hands when Pearl tried to hold his hand.
Fourth said, "I'm sorry, but I can't date you," with a serious look on his face. Don't expect anything form me. I made an effort to be the ideal boyfriend for you, but I failed. I am in love with someone else. I'm hoping you understand.
Pearl responded, "I understand," as tears streamed from her eyes. But will you be my friend, as we were before this date?
Fourth said; "Ok, and left Pearl alone.
Pearl began crying after experiencing a severe pain in her chest. She went home and tore all the pictures that was hung on her wall.
When Fourth reached home, he did feel bad about what he just had done, but he thought it was better than giving fake hope and leading her on.
