Wait is over

Fourth's mother informed Fourth in the early hours of the morning that Gemini, the neighbor, had returned from Japan and would be attending the same school as you.

 He was overjoyed to learn that Gemini had made it back because he had worried that he wouldn't get to meet him.

Fourth went to school with great joy. He had not been that happy ever since Gemini had left. When the teacher announced that there was a new student in the class, Fourth could not take his eyes off Gemini, which made Gemini nervous when he introduced himself.

Fourth observed Gemini staring at him as well. After lunch, Fourth wanted to speak with Gemini, but there was an uneasiness between Fourth and Pearl regarding all that happened the day before. Fourth was still sticking with Pearl since he didn't want Pearl to feel bad.

Fourth kept glancing at Gemini during the lunch break and noticed that Gemini was seated next to Mark; he knew that they were close friends since childhood. 

When school was over, Fourth hurried to see Gemini in his house. He rang the door bell, Gemini opened the door with a sleepy eye.

what do you want, Gemini said rudely.

Fourth said; can't I say hi to my friend while smiling. He couldn't stop smiling as he was so happy to see Gemini even thought Gemini acted a little rude.

Gemini rolled his eyes and said; couldn't you say it at school, oh sorry you were so busy with your girlfriend, you forgot to say hi.

Someone is jealous, Fourth teased Gemini.

Won't you let your friend inside Fourth asked.

Come on in, Gemini said while rolling his eyes.

Fourth and Gemini sat together in the couch, Gemini gave Fourth juice and some snacks.

They started talking about Gemini stay in Japan.

Gemini didn't look that happy to see Fourth. Fourth could see that Gem was not so excited to talk to him like he used to.

With sad face Gemini asked Fourth about Pearl.

Fourth was not expecting Gemini to ask him that, but he knew this was bothering Gemini.

So with a serious face Fourth said; She asked me out in front of the whole class. I didn't wanted her to feel bad so I accepted it. I have already ended things with her. My hear belonged to some one else from the beginning so i couldn't accept her. Well, let's not talk about this.

Fourth noticed that after hearing this there was a slight smile in Gemini's face.

Exactly at that moment Fourth's mom called him asking him to bring vegetables from the market. 

I must leave. Fourth said; my mother requested me to bring veggies from the market.

Yeah, bye see you at school then, Gemini responded.

Fourth made his way to his house while smiling broadly.

Uh-oh, what's with that bright smile, the fourth mum asked.

Fourth said, "Nothing, just met a friend.

Oooohhhhh FRIEND? Fourth's mother smiled and teased him.

Fourth left the vegetable on the table and rushed to his room. He kept thinking about Gemini and was excited to see him at school tomorrow.
