Cyno POV:

"I honestly think that being happy isn't for me...why should i even bother trying, its hopeless...."

"Well, i personally think that, that's  not true," my grandma responds lifting my chin up to look at her, "don't listen to that old fart, you deserve to be happy, just like everyone else it just takes time so please be patient my dear."

I let out a small laugh and kiss her forehead, "ill keep your words in mind," i reply feeling my heart ache as i give her a weak smile,"well, i better get going now im already running late heh-"

"Alright love, be careful."

"I will," i reply as i get up and slowly close the door behind me as i leave her room.

I was just about to walk out of the house when i heard a cold, raspy voice call out from behind me.

"Hey rat!"

I tense up at the sound of my grandfather's angry voice.

Oh god what now...

"Y-yea?," I respond trying not to show the obvious fear in my voice.

"Have you gotten a new job?," He asked as he moved directly in front of me crossing his arms.

I look down at the ground biting my lip knowing full well he won't like the words that would soon escrape my quivering lips.

"No sir...i haven't...but i-," i watch as he raises his arm over my head  causing me to fall back in fear of the possible impact.

"Tsk...you filthy coward...you better find yourself another job or else ill throw you out of this fucking house you hear me?"

"Yes sir..."

"Now get up and get out of my sight..."

I quickly nod as i get up and quickly exit the house.

I quickly shut the door behind me and lean against it. I let out a shaky breath and look down at my hands which were shaking slightly. Fuck...

I walk off the porch holding my hands close to my chest feeling myself slowly begin to calm down.

Just once i would like to leave my house in peace and not have to deal with that stupid old man!

I let out a small sigh as i begin my  traitorous walk to school.

The whole way i looked continuously down at the ground kicking the occasional pebble that would be in my way as i walked.

The walk to this school was a lot shorter than I'm used to...i hated it...

I let out a frustrated sigh as i rub the back of my neck and look up at the canopy of leaves that covered my view of the sky.

I cant complain...All of this was so i could be closer to my grandmother...

I don't trust my grandfather with my grandmother's safety, not in the slightest...so in order to be there for her i moved school's so i can rush to her aid as soon as possible if anything happens...god forbid that anything ever happens to her...
