Isabelle and Lea worked hard on their entry for the story contest. Coming up with dialogue, compromising twists and turns and character development, and more importantly, drawing designs.
Something then caught Isabelle's curiosity. "Hey, Lea? Remember when you made that cool looking card of me before we got together the first time?" She asked.
"How could I forget? I was fan-girling out seeing you up close while fighting Rena Rouge's illusions," Lea said, smiling lightly. "Why you ask?"
"I was wondering, after the Akumageddon and the Shadow Goblin incident, did you made cards of yourself and Macy's alter egos?" Isabelle asked.
Lea paused on that. "Huh...I honestly haven't yet considered doing a card of myself and Arashi. Well, maybe Arashi, but not myself. I haven't done anything worldwide spectacular like you, after all. Or beyond that, at least."
"Okay, then." Isabelle replied, as she continues to draw the character for the story, it took her and Lea all day. Isabelle even texted her mom about working on a story for the contest with Lea. "Hey, Lea, we've been working on this all day, why don't we take a break for a bit."
"I'm okay with that. We've already made lots of progress with this story," Lea said happily. "I'm excited in completing the story sooner than I hoped."
"Yay." Isabelle said in a childish squeal. Lea rolled her eyes. "Sorry, I've been told I talk cute."
"It's fine. What do you think we should do that will get both of us some fresh air?" Lea asked.
Isabelle thought about what she wants to do. "Why don't we go see Macy, I haven't told her I'm back in Paris, but since Marinette told you about my arrival, she probably told Macy and possibly the others." She said. "Plus, I wanna see what's Macy's been up to, since I last saw her."
"Good idea. If I know Macy, she's most likely at her mentor's place training," Lea said, standing up from where she was working. "Come on."
Later...
Isabelle and Lea walked down the streets of Paris. On their way, they spotted Owen and Ruth. They waved hello and even welcomed Isabelle back to Paris. Owen is the miraculous holder of the gorilla miraculous, calling himself Stripe-Zipper. And Ruth is the miraculous holder of the cow, calling herself Ms. Amazon.
As they continued walking, Lea explained to Isabelle that, after the Christmas battle with Chloe Bourgeois, Macy has been honing her combat skills at Kagami's penthouse.
"Macy's been mastering a lot of new moves where she's being not just a better hero, but also a better version of herself," Lea explained. "So, she can still be in top shape in both forms."
"Wow." Isabelle simply said with awe. "That fight we had with Chloe a few months ago must've given her a wake up call."
"I'll say. With heavy hitters like that, Macy strives hard in sharpening her skills as a team member," Lea replied. "Who would have guessed that Chloe would have another crazy evil alter ego phase?"
