The Adventures of Gwen Potter | Draco Malfoy

Deleted scene

A/N: As promised, here's the deleted scene. Have fun reading it! (It's mostly the same thing as chapter 3, but the deleted scene starts from 'Gwen felt an odd pain in her scar..' and it ends at the end of the chapter.

Gwen looked at the man. He was tall, thin and very old, judging by the silver of his hair and beard. He was wearing long robes, a purple cloak which swept the ground and high-heeled, buckled boots. His blue eyes were light, bright and sparkling behind half-moon spectacles and his nose was very long and crooked, as though it had been broken at least twice.

The second the man (A/N: who's Dumbledore, ofc) came inside the house, Draco ran to his bedroom at the speed of light.

"Dumbledore? Why are you here?" Said Lucius, who had just come to the door. "Lucius.. I assume that we both now exactly what happened 10 years ago, when Gwen was just a toddler?" Dumbledore replied.

Lucius was in shock. He thought nobody knew what happened that night. The night it was all gone.

"What are you talking about?" Said Gwen. "My name is Albus Dumbledore, and as you may know, I am the headmaster of Hogwarts."said Dumbledore.
"Er.. OK. So... why are you here?" Gwen replied.

"It just so happens that, when you were a toddler, a Dark Wizard by the name of Lord Voldemort came to your house, took you away, and wiped your twin brother's memories."

"Anyway, he attempted to kill you and your twin brother, Harry Potter. He had already killed your parents, but when he tried to kill both of you, it rebounded on him and he lost his powers."

"Strangely enough, it didn't take all of his powers. There was still enough power in him to go to Malfoy Manor, get you there and explain everything."
"I had a twin brother?"
"Yes, he's right here with me." replied Dumbledore.

"Hello. I'm Harry Potter." the boy said. He had a thin face, knobbly knees, black hair, bright green eyes, and glasses that looked as though they had been Cellotaped many times.
"Hi! I'm Gwen." She said, waving.

After she said that, she felt an odd pain in her scar. Harry touched his forehead.

"Gwen, I'm sure you have read the letter, as you can see, you'll be coming to Hogwarts this year along with Draco, we will see you there."

"Yes, I know, and I will be honored to come to Hogwarts, but may I get some time to talk with Harry as this is the first time I have met my twin?"

Dumbledore just nodded, and then eyed Lucius, signaling him to let them go to the bedroom to talk.

Harry and Gwen went inside Gwen and Draco's bedroom to talk.

They mostly talk about their lives until that very moment, and stuff about magic and their Hogwarts letters.

"Bye, Harry!" I'll see you at Hogwarts." said Gwen.

Harry then left with Dumbledore.

Draco, on the other hand, was just standing there, realizing his whole life was a lie but also feeling slightly elated as Gwen wasn't his 'real' sister. (A/N: Draco x Gwen moment lol)

After they left, Lucius closed the door and faced Gwen, Draco and Narcissa and asked all of them to go to their bedrooms, but he wanted to have a "family discussion" first.

They all sat at the dining table to have a talk.

"So Gwen, I know this is all very new for you, but as you heard Dumbledore, you're not a Malfoy, but a Pott— Draco, stop kicking me! Anyways, as we have treated you like our own daughter, we will continue doing so. Now, you may go to your bedrooms." Lucius finally said.

"Wait, so Gwen isn't my real sister?" said Draco.
"Well, of course she isn't. She doesn't even look like you. Are you dumb or what?" Lucius said, rolling his eyes.
