Chapter 4

Gwen ran upstairs to her and Draco's room. It had 2 identical beds, one had a purple blanket, another a mint green blanket. The room also had a shelf full of books on one side, and a bunch of posters of sports teams, Daily Prophets stuck to the wall, and some pictures of Lucius, Narcissa, Draco and Gwen.

She took a suitcase next to the bookshelf that was a light blue with an ornate letter 'G' on it. Then, she took a few books from the shelf, clothes, and some other things. After putting them all in the suitcase neatly, she went back downstairs and said, "OK, I'm here. Are we going now?"

"Yes." Dumbledore replied. He took Harry by 1 hand and Gwen by another. Then, in an instant, they disappeared from Malfoy Manor and reappeared at a place called 4, Privet Drive.

"Professor Dumbledore, my aunt and uncle are burning and trying to stop the Hogwarts letters I keep getting. Can you do something about it?" Harry explained.
"I will, but not just yet. Maybe.. on your birthday?" Dumbledore said, with a little grin. (A/N: -foreshadowing hehe-)

Gwen, Harry and Dumbledore went to the house closest to them. It looked like a very simple 2-storied house. There was a sign that said "Privet Drive" right next to it. Then, Dumbledore knocked on the door. "Hello? This is Albus Dumbledore here. I've come to bring Gwen and Harry back."

"What is it?" A man came out of the door. He was a big, beefy man with hardly any neck, although he did have a very large moustache. His name was Vernon Dursley.
"I already told you, Mr Dursley." Dumbledore replied.

"Oh, sorry." said Uncle Vernon. A young lady had also come to the door. She was thin and blonde and had nearly twice the usual amount of neck, and seemed like the person who would spy on their neighbours. She was Aunt Petunia.

"Vernon, I will not have another one in the house! We have to get rid of that dangerous nonsense." She said angrily. "Although, I've always wanted a daughter.." Gwen noticed that she was looking around, if anyone had heard her.

"Well, I should get going. See you in September, Gwen and Harry!" Dumbledore finally said. Then, he disappeared from 4, Privet Drive.

"You two! Get to the smallest bedroom, and don't make another sound!" Uncle Vernon said; he seemed annoyed. He also kept looking at Aunt Petunia, for some reason.

Harry and Gwen spent most of the day talking, reading and organising the room. At night, they went to sleep. The alarm clock rang at 6am the next morning. Gwen jumped and said, "Harry, did you set it to 6am?"

Harry didn't say anything. Instead, he turned it off quickly and got dressed. Then, he went downstairs without turning on any of the lights. Gwen did the same thing and decided to follow him.

They were going to wait for the postman on the corner of Privet Drive and get the letters before the Dursleys. Harry's heart was beating like mad as they crept across the dark hall towards the front door—
'AAH!'
Gwen leapt into the air. She'd trodden on something big and squashy on the doormat — something that was alive!

Lights clicked on upstairs. To her horror, Gwen had realised that big squashy something was Uncle Vernon's face. He had been lying at the foot of the front door in a sleeping bag, to make sure Harry didn't get the letters first. Uncle Vernon shouted at Gwen and Harry for half an hour, and then told them to make him a cup of tea.

"Does Uncle Vernon make you do this every day?" Gwen asked.
"Yeah." Harry groaned.

A/N: Heyy! So this is 4th chapter. It's sort of boring, just Gwen packing up to go to the Dursleys. The next chapter might be more action-packed (if travelling counts).
