I was woken up by the sound of fighting. As my eyes adjust to the darkness around. I saw 2 figures fighting. The first figure hunches over in pain appears to be a dragon hybrid with their scaley wings. While the other figure was smiling and raise their weapon to strike the dragon down appears to be a wither hybrid. I was a bit panicked. It seems like they didn't notice me yet. But the village around me has changed. It looks abandoned. Than suddenly a small voice in my head told me to move. To do something. Save the dragon. I got out from the shade of the tree and jump in front of the dragon hybrid. I raised up my arms as I closed my eyes and wait for impact, the sound of someone groaning in pain is infront of me. Opening my eyes I realised I had summoned a spiky rock from the ground impaled the wither. "wha- what the-" and the wither exploded into a puff of smoke. They are gone only leaving what seems to be a star shaped object on the ground. I look down to my hands. I murdered someone again... Why... who... was that voice... in my head. I flinched as I feel a hand on my shoulder "thank you small hero." they walk over to pick up the star and keep it into their inventory. I could only stare at them confused. "ah... It seems like I forgot to introduce myself. I am [REDACTED] the God of death. But you may call me Birb. If I may know... Who are you small savior?" they asked. "Pirite... My name is Pirite." Birb nods, "hm... I know this may sound rude, but I notice that you were sleeping under the tree. Do you not have a home?" they asked with worry on their tone. "no... Sadly I don't have one-" Birb smiled and ruffled my hair. "A child without a home? That's a no can do. Hm... Pirite Zaaos... I like how it sounds like. Well kid do you mind if I adopt you!" I stared at them blankly before shouting. "what!?" "I told you I'm adopting you. You are now my child. That's fine right?" "well not like I have anything to loose..." "so it's settled than! Pirite Hex Zaaos the new member of the Zaaos family" they chirped happily. "well we should get home than!" Birb- no Mom said holding out their hand. I took their without hesitating. 'maybe life won't be so bad afterall...' you thought before following them.

Meanwhile deep in the forest. There was no science facility at all. As if it had disapear without a trace. The tree that used to grow pears now grew apples. I wonder. If this is even the same universe I was in.
