A Day In L.A- Chapter 5

When we got home, Andy helped me paint my room. "So, do you know how you want the room painted?" Andy asked "I want one wall left blank for all my posters, one wall completely black, another completely purple and the last wall purple with black splatters all over." I explained He nodded and we started to move the furniture so we could paint.

After an hour and a half of letting the paint dry, I put all the furniture where I wanted it and started hanging the posters that I got. In the middle I formed a heart with all the pictures I had of me and mom. I let a single tear drop, wiped it off and finished setting up the room. My bedspread was Doctor Who themed with galaxy pillow cases and the tenth Doctor on the blanket. All the furniture was temporarily wooden brown but soon we're painting them black.

By now I was looking at my room in satisfaction when Andy called me. " Hey, Isabelle, you like pasta?" he asked opening the door "Yeah, I love pasta!" I responded a bit too happily, he just chuckled "Alright, well dinner's ready whenever you are." I changed out of the dirty, ragged clothes I was wearing into something more decent; t-shirt and leggings.

I made my way downstairs and served myself some pasta with garlic bread. As I sat down I heard the doorbell ring "Who's at the door?" I asked "Oh, I almost forgot, I invited the guys over so you could really meet them, you don't mind do you?" Andy said, I smiled "I don't mind, they're awesome." with that Andy went over to open the door.

I heard all the guys greet my dad as they entered. I gave each one a smile as they greeted me and we all began to eat. "So, Isabelle, how do you like Los Angeles so far?" Ashley asked "I love it! It's so cool and I never thought a mall could be so big." I answer with clear excitement in my voice, I noticed Andy had a smile on his face and the rest of the guys nodded agreeing to my statement about the mall.

"Hey, I'm visiting my little cousins tomorrow and they're about your age, wanna join? I mean if it's okay with your dad, of course." Ash said looking at An-dad as he finished talking. I looked over to him hoping he'd say yes. I don't have any friends and I possibly lost the only friend I had back home in Oregon. Ashley's cousins could be a start. "You have to go to school tomorrow so as long as Ash goes after school, you can go." I looked at Ash for confirmation "Yeah, I'll pick you up from school and we can go, that good?" he said, I nodded with a big smile. Although I wasn't too happy about going to school, I think I've made that pretty clear.

After dinner, we all went to the living room and watched a random movie. I got to choose so I took out a Batman movie. "Guys, she clearly Andy's kid." C.C said, Andy and I looked at each other and laughed "She even laugh like him, that's so adorable!" Jinxx exclaimed "Hey, I'm not adorable, I'm badass." I stated.

After all the laughs, we calmed down and focused on the movie. Isabelle fell asleep around the middle of the movie. She was laying down on my lap with her arms wrapped around one of mine, she looked like a cute human-like koala. I smiled and let her stay there until the movie ended.

"Hey, looks like the little Batgirl fell asleep." Jake said "Yeah, my Batgirl had a long day, we went shopping and then decorated her room." I said they all gave her a kiss on the forehead and left saying goodnight. I carried Isabelle up the stairs and tucked her into bed kissing her nose. "Goodnight my little Batgirl" I like that name, that's what I'll call her. "Goodnight daddy" I heard her mumble. I felt a smile creep up on my face as I walked over to my room.
