Leaning at the entrence was tall and slender looking boy who looked a LOT familiar.He had raven black hair and his eyes were that of onyx colour.He looked like he was 5'7" and had a mischievous glint in his eyes.I widened my eyes as realisation hit me.He came back.He gazed at us for a few seconds before speaking in a cheery voice "Hey everyone,my name is Adrien and I hope to make friends with you all"Astra turned towards me the moment she heard the name Adrien.Guess she took a little time to recognise him."Thankyou Adrien you may go and sit beside Shane."
Okay this is too much,Shane was sitting right behind me.Adrien strutted past me.I thought maybe he will show some signs of recognising me but to my dismay,nothing.
Rudeness.That's the only thing that he still has.
I thought of trying to start a conversation with him but then I remembered how he didn't trust me when I wanted to, rage filled inside me.But I had to admit his whole demeanor has changed.Everything screamed perfect from him.He has become more handsome.Something told me he is not the Adrien, Astra and I used to know.
Astra and I made eye contact and we both were thinking the same thing.What should we do?
Did I try to forget him so hard only to have him coming back in my life again? Why did my life take a 360 degree turn?
The others on the other hand was preety cool with Adrien.Shane and Adrien clicked instantly and he made friends with Leisha,Pace and Pacen too but he was completely ignoring me intentionally.This is so frustrating.I instead focused on the boring lecture.I decided if Adrien wanted to ignore me I would show him I am better at it.
"Psst!!Rach" I looked around to see Astra calling me.
"What?"I answered.
"How come Adrien is here?"
"How am I supposed to know?"
"Go talk to him,you idoit"
"When he is clearly ignoring me?No thanks." I responded.
I could hear him talking to others in the most friendly way.He was even talking with Astra,everyone but me.Somehow it made my blood boil to see him talking to others except me.After what felt like hours Shane finally seemed to acknowledge me.
"Adrien,you didn't meet Rach yet"
"My full name is Rachael.I don't allow UNKNOWN people to call me Rach"I said highlighting the word unknown.
"Woah woah! take it easy,Adrien has joined our group"Pacen said with a hint of proudness.
"Since when?"I questioned
"Since today"Leisha joined in.
"How can we allow people we don't know in our group"I tried reasoning.
"Not making any sense Rach.To know him,we have to be friends with him first."replied Shane as a matter of fact.
I looked at Astra for backup but she seemed to think about it.There is no way Adrien can be in our group.It will be more difficult to ignore him.Oh God!Why are you making this so difficult than it already is.
"I vote for Adrien to stay in our group."Astra spoke up.I glared at her.Does she have a deathwish or what?
Everyone looked at me.I was the only one left to vote.I sighed as I realized there is nothing more to say than accept."Fine"
"That's it!Adrien welcome to our group then"Pace said patting his back.
"But what if I don't want to join?"Adrien spoke up suddenly.

.
"what-"
"Just kidding!I am IN"
"Gosh!you gave me a heartattack"Shane laughed.
"Let's go to the nearby ice-cream parlour"Leisha suggested.Everyone agreed.
"Rach let's go!"Leisha tagged at my arm.
"Nope,I won't"I denied suppressing the tiny amount of wish that I had to go out with them.
"Preettyy pwease"Astra and Leisha both said while making puppy eyes.
I sighed for the nth time that day."Only if you two pay for me"
"YESSS!!"They jumped with joy causing me to smile unknowingly.
"Side note:You two didn't look cute at all while making the puppy eyes."
"But it made you go with us"Astra smirked.
I rolled my eyes"Whatever"
"Let's go guys,Shane and the others have already reached the parlour"Leisha said frantically
"How did you know?"I asked
"He messaged me you idoit!"
Astra and I passed a knowing look before following Leisha.
Maybe having Adrien in the group won't be so bad after all.
