Not fit for Luna

Ch 39 Olav's PVO

Olav just came from the shift. He was hoping to get a few hours of sleep but was called to the command unit by Geir.
- It better be damn important, Geir. – he was hardly standing on his legs so exhausted he has been.
Geir did not bother to answer, off cause it was important, he would not call him otherwise
- Good or bad?
- Depends on how you look on it. I would say rather bad. – he did not torture him and just told what the matter was.
-  We think we know where Silena is, but most likely, we are not the only ones who have guessed.
He handed him a print of some Internet media article. It was called «Luna of the North». Olav quickly ran his eyes through it, shaked his head nervously, and read it once again, but now taking his time. Article stated that after so many decades of North being not controlled by anyone, Luna was finally chosen. The author was telling that this most beautiful woman he had seen was a doctor working with the rescue team. She was helping war refugees, and they, in return, chose her as a Luna. Article stated as well that she had to leave her pack almost 7 years ago becoming a rouge, but instead of despair, she chose to get education and now became the most respected person at North.
- Damn, I think it is indeed Silena. Can we ask hackers to remove it from the Internet?
- Too late, it has been published for some time before we have spotted it.
Olav roared and closed his years.
- Are you going to do this creepy thing again?
Geir was repeating it every time, but he got used to it by now. Since that when Olav first time felt Silena'a pain he spent a lot of time practicing to feel what she was feeling. Every time he would have spared a minute from war, he would use it for training this ability. Initially, he did not tell anyone what he was doing. In the first few months, he could not feel anything anyway, but practice after practice, he managed to tune on their mate connection and eventually cracked the code. Olav could access only the feelings, not the thoughts, but it alone could give a lot of information. He was not so emotional to begin with, and war killed the last of it, but Silena on the opposite was floating in senses and emotions. Feeling it through her was all different level for him. Olav first justified it to himself by saying he just wanted to make sure that she was saved because it was his fault that she had to become a rouge. But before he knew it, he crossed the line, and it became a drug for him. He could not stop living those emotions through her. Geir and Solveig both noticed that he was like in another reality often, and he had to tell them the truth. They were familly, he could not lie to them. At first, they both freaked out, Solveig said that he was stalking on Silena and that was creepy, Geir was more scared somebody could use it as his weakness, but both of them accepted it soon and were just mocking him time to time.
- She is safe and calm for now. Concentrated, like she is driving on the road or something like that. she does not know exactly what to expect but prepared and has some plan.
