The crowd erupts with satisfaction besides the two orc women lathered in paint. They both sit down in their seats holding back tears. As the crowd had yelled out in a mixture of anger, sorrow, and joyful remarks, the party grouped together around Johnny.
"What the hell Juniper!?" Azreal spoke with a furious tone. He had been quite injured with his clothes being stained now in both dirt and blood.
"Why didn't you heal me!? You had one job! I was taking a beating and I couldn't get so much as an ounce of healing magic!"
"I- You looked fine to me.. I thought you could handle things fine." She held onto Johnny who looked to be close to feinting. "Plus Johnny literally lost his leg!"
"That wouldn't have happened if you'd just heal me from the start! Nearly got split in two and couldn't muscle my way out because the pain was too much to handle!" Azreal steps closer to Juniper with a sluggish yet threatening posture.
"Hey! She was doing her best" Silvia spoke up clutching to her stomach and weakly limping in between the two. She puts her hand up and against Azreal's leather adorned chest as a means to ward him off.
"I really tried. This has all been so stressful to me! Esp-Especially with everyone being hurt I needed to choose who to help in the moment!" Juniper's eyes well up as she speaks, still holding onto Johnny administering healing magic.
"Shut it Silvia! You say that because you were healed at least a little bit! And her best, I mean, your best isn't good enough! How hard is it to heal the person taking the frontline!? Tell me huh!? HUH!?" Even with Silvia's hand pressed against him he walks forward a bit more, fighting against her feeble resistance.
"Please.... Stop.. I'm sorry.. Let's focus on Johnny." Juniper begs him to stop as she turns her attention to the nearly passed out Johnny.
Azreal scoffs in annoyance before backing off and away from the group pacing around aimlessly.
The crowd settles down which catches the party's attention. It gets averted to the balcony area they previously had seen the Elvin royal perched. There stood the man with an irritated temperament.
"Bravo criminals, you've certainly done a great job. Just look at yourselves now. I think we can ring in another round of combatants in just a minute so hol-" Amongst man's words a weak voice reaches his ears.
"Criminals...? What had we done to be here..? Johnny tiredly sits up with the help of Juniper.
"You don't remember? That makes sense I guess.. Seeing as you were drunk that is.. Let me remind you then"
The tavern smelled of syrups with accented fruit scents to compliment it's savory sight. Above the mangrove colored sign showed "The Morning Bar'd". Inside the group had bunkered for a couple hours with several drinks having circulated the tables. The tavern keeper, a lion humanoid, had been washing dishes with a slight smile across his face. Cheers were had throughout the area with multiple races of people interacting with one another.
"Can I have whiskey please?" Juniper signals the tavern keeper.
"And for me let me get a fireball. Thank you" Johnny kicks up next to Juniper with his hands crossed on top of the counter.
The keeper pours out a glass of whiskey in from a small bottle that had been sat along the back wall's shelf. He then grabs another slightly bigger bottle, pouring the same amount. Being served he returns to attend other people.
Silvia watched at a distance before pulling out a flask of her own. It was very plain with a curved shape and a small cap at the top that could be flipped open. Taking a few sips she looks to exit the tavern with a somber look on her face.
