The door creaked open. Varshith was awake for a couple of minutes now. He was lying in bed, eyes shut, trying to fall asleep. Varshith has always been a deep sleeper, until recently, the news was all about missing teenagers and adults. In the odd case that someone were to break into there house, he would be ready. So when the door creaked open, he was fully alert. It was his sister.

"Hello Hello!! Good Morning Varshith!!!" His sister exclaimed. "Good Morning." He blankly responded. "Today is your first day of uni!!! Are you exited??" Uni wasn't anything he couldn't do. He always graduated from the top of his classes, but all of his teachers have been telling him to socialize more. Friends were a waste. When Varshith was younger, he thought otherwise, until his parents died. All of the kids thought he was a werido, so he stoped socializing. Simple as that.  Though when he was going to uni, his sister told him that making friends would help alot.

Varshith always obeyed his sister, because he respected her and she respected him. He didn't respect alot of people, but his sister has always been kind to him, and kept him safe. His sister told him to get ready and come downstairs. They lived in a decent house, which he was grateful for. He got ready and decided to choose some clothes. He wore a blue button down with black trousers. He liked dressing like a adult, it made him look more formal and imitating. He went downstairs for breakfast.

"Ah there you are!" His sister exclaimed. He looked at the breakfast she had prepared. She made pancakes and a fruit salad. He didn't have a opinion on what he ate. As long as it kept him alive and it wasn't flesh, he ate it. He didn't like eating animal flesh, and it would be considered murder. He ate his breakfast and his sister asked regular questions that someone would ask you before heading off to uni. "Also, stay safe on the train." "You know there has been lots of people getting kidnapped lately." Varshith nodded. When he finished eating, he got up, put his plate and washed it before heading to his luggage. He looked at his bags. He knew that he shouldn't pack much, since he would be living in a 12x12 room with another stranger. That's another thing he didn't like about uni. He had to live with a stranger. That stranger could either be the nicest person ever or be a serial killer. He looked at his grey suitcase and his black and green bookbag. They both got into the car and his sister drove him to the station. They said there goodbyes and headed there ways...

I dropped my brother at the station and was heading towards my car. The house was going be lonely from now on, but I'm glad that he is getting the opportunity to go to uni and make some friends. I was walking in the parking lot until I saw a homeless man. I looked into my purse and had some change. I gave it to him, he blessed me and I left. Later, while I was driving, a man signaled me to pull over. I pulled over and-  "HELP ME!!!" "PLEASE SOMEONE IS CHASING AFTER ME!" I acted quickly, kept my car on emergency brakes, got out and followed him.

I followed the man for about 45 minutes, when the sudden realization hit me. Why would a strong man ask a frail women like me to help him? What good would I do for him? This man looked far to strong to be running away from someone, instead he looked like someone who people would run away from. "Sir, I think I will be heading back to my car now." I said shaking. The off chance that this man was good, he would let me go. He gave me a smirk. The smirk of a serial killer. A shiver went down my spine as I stepped back a few feet. This can't end here. I can't die already. After coming so far in life. I wasn't going to be a stupid white women in every horror movie. I booked it. I ran a few yards before he ran up to me, and stabbed me. My face slammed the hard concrete road. He took the knife out my stomach making the blood go all over my clothes and all over his hands. He stabbed me and pulled out the knife again. He did this a couple of times. He was laughing manically as he saw my horrid face. He left, leaving my lifeless body there to rot....

I went through security and checked in all of my bags. I was looking at a chart of all the train timings along with a few other people. My train ride wasn't until 1:00 PM. It was currently 11:48 AM. I decided I would explore the station a bit. I found a food stall and decided to buy some potato crisps along with fiji water. I sat down and ate my food. There was a girl in front of me. She had midnight dark hair and a small chunk of it was snow white. She looked pretty, to be frank. Though I got the sudden thought that she probably has a boyfriend. "Excuse me sir?" She asked politely. Oh shit I staring at her for to long. "Yes ma'am" I said. I should keep calm, it wasn't like I was getting murdered. "Are you going to Nottingham University?" She asked. Ah, it must have been my jacket. It was the school uniform. My sister used to go there, so I got a few hand me downs, such as shirts, ties, jackets, socks, and shoes. "Yes I do." I responded, trying not to sound to eager. "Why what's up?". "I also happen to be a student there!!" "That's poggers" I said, trying to sound a bit more nicer. It wasn't that I was looking for a girlfriend or anything, I didn't want to get a bad impression at the new school.  "My  names Shruthika!" She said offering a handshake. "The names Varshith" I said shaking her hand.

We had small talk for a while until we heard the intercom. "Passengers boarding to Nottingham please line up at gate 32B." "Oh well I guess that's our ride", she said getting up and picking up her bookbag. I too, also got up with my bookbag, and dragged my luggage as we chatted until we go to the gate. Once we got to the gate, there was a line. We sat in different sections so we said our goodbyes and boarded the train. I found my section and sat down. There as going to be three other people. I sat down and read a book.

After a couple of minutes, three men entered the section. They looked to be good friends. I looked up, then continued reading my book. They got settled in. I didn't want to mingle with more people. I shouldn't create friendships with people I will probably never see in my life again. One of the boys, talked to me. "Hello lad" He said, looking at me. "What's up?" I said, these people looked like uni students as well. The off chance that they go to the same uni I go to, I should try becoming friends with them. "The names Tekalene and this is Ashfaaq and Varunav  what's your name?" The man said. "I'm Varshith." I stated. We had some small talk, there attending Notting University. This was pog. First day on the train and I already met 4 people. We all decided to rest for a bit, since orientation week was going to be chaotic.

I entered my section and was met with 3 girls. They all were talking with each other, gossiping about something. One of the girls realized I came. "Hello" She said, making eye contact with me. "Hi!!" I said happily. "You also go to Nottingham Uni?" She asked. "I do! You all as well?" She nodded. "My names Sragvi, and these are Lila and Sharanya!" "Who might you be?" "My names Shruthika!!" "That's such a pretty name! Sharanya commented." "Thank you!" I said. Lila had a raccoon on her head. I wondered for a bit how she got that passed security. "Pog raccoon Lila!" I exclaimed. "Thank you!! "Its name is Karl!" Lila said. I got settled in the room and we all had small talk. Than we thought we should get some rest before orientation week.
