calum: i still think of it, you know? the way the police described it made it sound peaceful, but it was anything but that.

calum: they say a drunk driver scraped the side of your car while you swerved off the road in order to avoid crashing into him.

calum: they say you crashed into a tree soon after and that your death was instant. i guess it was a good thing that you couldn't feel pain as you took your last breath. but it wasn't peaceful.

calum: god, i remember crying because of you. it wasn't that type of silent crying that everybody writes poems about. no, i remember collapsing to the ground and crying. i remember my chest feeling tight and my lungs burning as i screamed as loud as i could.
