Vaidharbhi is fortunate to find a true lover in Govind as he cherishes her completely - body and soul. Whenever people of Mathura witnessed their affectionate companionship, it reminded them of their epic love couples from days of yore.
They are enchanted with each other. Whenever they walked arm in arm, and listened intently to each other's words radiated warmer smiles than anyone else people began to look at them in wonder as though they are perfect and complete each other in a fundamental way.
That day they were returning from the temple to their house alone. This tiny amount of time meant a lot to her as Govind is super busy. She began to look at him affectionately
"Arya, can we go to the river? I feel so," Vaidharbhi looked at Govinda with pleading eyes.
"It is already late. Mother was very strict regarding the timings did you forget?" he catched her ears slightly twitching.
She squeaked in mock pain," yes yes as though you listen to her words seriously".
Govinda looked at her," you are impossible Vaidharbhi. At least now behave responsibly".
"Oh, come on you too need the break. Let some other noble council members worry for Mathura for time being."
" There are onlookers. People will gossip," he warned her.
"People will talk gossip whatever and whenever they feel like. We cannot change that. Let them talk," she chirped in.
Pointing to the other areas" there are many young couples happily chatting you are afraid to talk with your wife?"
"You won't as always. These days you are becoming so obstinate. I think the problem lies with your didi. She should have kept you in place."
"Oh is it? try if you can", Vaidharbhi said with a twinkle in her eyes.
The sound of the water rushing by coupled with the chirping of birds in alongside the trees in the surroundings created a symphony of relaxation, to let go of the worries and stresses of the world. They sat at the banks of Yamuna immersing their feet in the river. It was both refreshing and rejuvenating for her as it help her relieve the soreness from their feet.
The growing life inside Vaidharbhi did exhaust her physically but the little girl inside her mind did not deter her. She began to wade her feet into the water, the coolness of the river washed over her feet in a soothing embrace.
It was a moment of pure bliss, as she gazed into his eyes feeling the depth of his love for her. With each passing moment, she felt more and more connected to him, as if they were truly one.
"Come on, now start back home", he stood up ordering her to leave at once for home. He helped her to get up. With one hand on the belly and with the other she held onto him tightly and began to walk home.
She felt a sharp pain in her feet.
"A stone", she exclaimed examining her feet decorated with red henna. He looked at her amazed with the sudden halt. He noticed the uncomfortable feeling on her face judging that she needed help. There was no word spoken, he scooped her up into his arms, cradling her gently against his chest.
Vaidharbhi felt the warmth of his body when her skin rubbed against his chest. She could feel the steady rhythm of his heartbeat, which made her feel comforted.
"Arya, there are onlookers now too", she provoked him lovingly.
"Let them also carry their wives if they want", he tightened his grip.
The onlookers looked at them with awe with cheers following them.
Vaidharbhi leaned her head against his shoulder, burying her nose under the crook of his neck. Closing her eyes, letting him carry her weight as they continued on their journey.
At nightfall moments of tender lovemaking Vaidharbhi rested her head on Govinda's chest. She could sense the rise and fall of his breath brushing against her skin. The warmth of his body warms up the softness of her skin. She could listen the steady beating of his heart.
It was a perfect moment of intimacy beckoning in the closeness which she cherished deeply. They lay there with her on his arms, she felt a sense of contentment and peace wash over her. Her eyes looked at the mark on his left chest .It was a unique mark looking like a lotus decorating his chest the day his born. She could not stop marveling at the mark as it is matching close with the description of Lord Vishnu she learnt from her teacher. Carefully she traced the mark mimicking Srivatsa on his chest with her fingers. Vaidharbhi knew that in this moment, she was exactly where she was meant to be. Smilingly she wrapped in her partner's embrace, safe, and loved.
It was a small gesture, but it meant the world to her. She knew that with her partner by her side, she could overcome any obstacle, no matter how tired or weary she may feel. Together, they would always find a way to keep moving forward.

"Vaidharbhi," it was the voice of Devaki from the courtyard of their house.
"Ji Matashri,"came a reply from inside the room.
"Come here, see who has come," Devaki could not hold the excitement for Vaidharbhi.
It was Brihati-mother of Satyabhama whom Vaidharbhi could easily recognize.
"Pranipat", Vaidharbhi was about to fall at her feet but Brihati stopped her midway. She kissed affectionately on her forehead. Making her sitting beside, Brihati scanned her from top to toe.
Suddenly her eyes caught on the left hand of Vaidharbhi. There were three green dots looking like a vertices of triangle. She could understand that past has come to greet her on the present. This girl from Vidharbha is...
