The woman with wounds similar to the ones Ahri had suffered while dating Daisho introduced herself as Sylvia, and after Sekka ushered everyone into a private back room, the passionate woman was not shy to share why she was there.

Sylvia ran her fingers through her little girl's midnight black hair absent-mindedly as she child played on her phone. "I saw one of the videos from yesterday, and I knew it was time to take my stand again."

Despite clutching Kirishima's hand in a death grip beneath the table, Ahri's voice came out relatively even as she asked, "what do you mean?"

Sylvia nodded over to Eitarou who was sitting on Bakugo's lap. Bakugo was the only person Kirishima trusted to protect his son because they all knew the ash blonde's humorless smile was all the warning Syvlia needed to get the message: Touch The Boy, You Die.

"It seems the asshole's genes are just as strong as we thought. Your son looks just as much like that fucker as Misha does."

Misha in question couldn't be more than 8, yet she sighed, "language, Mom."

"Pft," Sylvia smirked in pride which made those angry scars on her face crinkle as she looked over at her daughter. "Despite where she came from, Misha is a good girl."

"Misha," Ahri asked carefully, "how old is she?"

"I'm 8," Misha answered as she clicked the phone screen in rapid succession.

"8?" Ahri parrotted. "Eitarou is almost 5, so Daisho-"

Sylvia held up her hand to cut Ahri off. "I can tell you're about to apologize, but don't. You are not responsible for that snake's actions. I may have been one of the firsts in his long line of women Daisho abused, but just like me, I am assuming, in the beginning, you never knew he was cheating?"

"Of course not," Ahri vowed. "Toward the end when I was pregnant with Ei, I knew he was stepping out on me, but I never knew I-I was helping him cheat on you."

"Babygirl, don't fret," Sylvia laughed. "By the time you got with him, I was up to my eyeballs in hospital bills, doctor's appointments, and lawyer fees."

"Lawyers?"

Sylvia took a deep breath and steeled her nerves. "I hate to break it to you, but this is what Daisho does. He's one of those men who sleep around with countless women. Each of us falls for his initial love-bombing bullshit that gets us into his bed, and by the time we get our heads out of our asses, we've been manipulated to the point where we think we're the problem. He's an abusive textbook narcissist who learns from his mistakes." She waved to the deep gashes across her face. "He gave me these when I had the audacity to tell him no one night."

Kirishima's blood began to boil as he realized his girl could have suffered the same if not worse fate.

Despite the room of pro heroes beginning to turn murderous, Syvlia continued, "after I drove myself to the hospital, I found out I was pregnant. That for me was the last straw. While I was there I reported the abuse, filed a restraining order, and tried to take him to court, but..."

As her voice trailed off, her daughter looked up from her phone. Misha bumped her mom's shoulder with her own and gave her a supportive smile. "Hey, it's okay."

Sylvia looked at the light of her life and huffed, "you're such a good kid, Mi."

"Don't get all gross and sappy on me now," Misha teased which caused her mom to playfully shove her head away with a laugh.

Sylvia looked back to Ahri and began again, "I tried to sue him, but I lost before I even filed. I had been using drugs for years. Addiction runs in my family, and I had fallen prey to it really early in life. Shit, that's how I met Daisho. He was selling his acid on the back markets, and we ran in similar circles. When I tried to sue him for domestic violence, he showed up with the same two lawyers he has now. They went digging into my background and pulled everything; my stents in rehab, my juvie record, and my shoddy employment timeline. Even with this concrete proof," she waved to her scarred face, "I was a shit case."
