Emily was a 14 year old girl who absolutely LOVED To dance. She always gave up her extra time just to go to rehearsals or special dance occasions. She wouldn't miss them for the world!
Everyone was busy in the studio preparing for there ballet solo's, duet's group dances etc. Harriet, Jessalyn, Lucy, Maddie, Katie, Naiomi & Emily were practising there group dance in front of the WHOLE ballet studio. This was a very important occasion because BALLET STUDIO 101 were performing in a show in front of a massive crowd which covers 560 people. This included the queen! The kids would practise, practise and practise every single day after school for 3 hours!
There group dance was called peace and they danced to really peaceful music and they were holding pink, sparkly peace signs.
When the group dance finished, they all sat back down. Out of Al, of the friends, Emily was the only one who had a solo. The others had duets and trios!
Time flew by and it was time for Emily to perform her solo in front of the whole studio. Before the music began, she looked at Madame Sylvia who had a proud look on her face. The music started. Emily, as elegant as always, danced through her piece like a swan floating on the water. It was amazing. All eyes were on her. Emily felt the best feeling in the world!
