Its not that i hated snow, in fact i loved it. Its been my only friend for as long as i can remember, but at this very moment it was getting on my nerves.
Stopping, i looked behind me, around me, above me. It was all just trees, and not even different ones mind you, the same, damn trees.

Practically punching my gut inside i hated myself for leaving in the first place. I left my home, just to look for someone who might not even exist. I tried to steady my breaths as i continued to walk forward, but u felt as a wall was pressing against my chest, and my breaths only became short gasps.

Bum.... Bum... Bum...

Snow, and more snow. There did come a point where i gave up. I was laying on the ground with the snow just like old times, covering myself with its white cloak as i felt my skin get soo cold, it actually started to feel warm.

Looking at my knuckles, i gently graze my fingers over them as they turned purple, and i avert my eyes forward, still seeing snow. Looking at the trees, its bark, its stem, i tried to see if there was anything i could eat, but hardly anything blossoms when its cold everyday.

For a second i can feel something snap. The sudden shock of it makes me gasps as i feel it once more and i slowly look at my feet. They seemed, normal, i looked around them. Nothing. I thought maybe i stepped on something, and taking another step i felt it once more.

Looking behind me at the stop where i just stood, drops of red painted the white snow , leading to where my feet stood now, and slowly bringing one foot up so i could see, a gash going across my foot. How could such a Benign looking cut hurt so damn much?

And for a short second, i wanted to move forward. I started to walk, no run, as my gasps turned to small hiccups of breath, and i ran. Pushing the pain aside i ran. Passes millions of trees, and million particles of snow i ran until my body gave up.
