Chapter 15

                                 Alyx's POV
My nails were ready and waiting to slash him.

Anne: The hell has gotten into you?!

"You heard me earlier. This is MY family now. I won't lose them!"

Anne: I understand then.

I felt someone tugging my pants. I looked over my shoulder and saw Rosemary.

"A-Alyx?"

"Yes?"

"I-I'm scared."

"Where's your sister?"

"She's in her room."

"Okay. Let's go find her. Asher, can you handle him on your own?"

"Yeah."

I turned around and Rosemary grabbed my hand.

"Rose wait!"

She started walking faster. We made it to Pixella's room and she ran up to her.

"I-is he gone?"

"Daddy's dealing with him. He won't hurt you anymore."

I wiped Rosemary's tears away.

"Do you guys want a snack or a drink?"

They looked at each other.

"Girls? What's wrong?"

They told me and I ran downstairs. I ran right up to the front door and flew past Asher. I enlarged my nails again and slashed Wade.

"Woah!"

"You son of a bitch! You burned them?!"

"You did what?!"

"I had to punish them!"

Asher's fist flew right by my head and hit Wade's face.

"Get away!"

"I've changed my mind. You have 72 hours to get out of here."

Wade walked away defeated. We walked back inside.

"What happened to you?"

"He fucked with my family."

I looked down.

"I don't want to lose another family."

He used his index finger to lift my head up.

"Baby...you won't lose this family. I'm gonna go make the notifications. Go play with the girls."

He wiped a tear away.

"Alyx, it's gonna be okay."

He kissed my forehead.

"How many notifications do you need?"

"I'm going to make 130 of them."

"You'll hurt your hand."

"Don't worry. I'll be fine."

Asher's POV
I went into my office and grabbed what, I needed. I sat down at my desk and started writing the first notification. I was on the fifth one when, I heard a little voice.

"Daddy?"

I picked my head up. I saw Rosemary.

"Hey bug. What's wrong?"

"What're you doing?"

"I'm doing something very important."

"Can I watch?"

"Uhhh...I guess?"

She walked up to me. I picked her up and put her on my lap. She pointed to a picture on my desk.

"What's that?"

"That's your sister's school picture. You can look at it if, you want."

I handed her the picture frame. I went back to writing the notifications. She put the picture frame down then pointed at the letter.

"Daddy? What's that?"

"This is something, that's going to keep this family safe."

"Really?"

"Mhm. I love you girls."

She tilted her head back and looked up at me. I paused and looked at her.

"I love you daddy."

"I love you too."

I kissed her forehead then tilted her head down. I went back to writing.

"Do you want me to tell you anything? Anything about your mother?"

She shook her head.

"I wanna hear about you and Lyxy."

"Ah. Okay. Well..we've been together for almost a year now. I saved her the same way I saved you. We'll tell you tue full story when you're older."

"Do I have to call her "mommy"?"

"No. Not at all. If you don't feel like that, then you don't have you."

"Will she get mad?"

"No sweetie. Alyx won't get mad at you about that. If you don't see her as that then, that's okay. Her and your sister got close right away. Pixie asked me if she could call Alyx that. I told her, she could. I noticed, you said my name after, I said it. Did your mom tell you about me?"

She nodded.

"Did she say anything about me?"

"Yeah. She told me stories about you."

"I hope, none of them were bad."

"Daddy? Are you really alpha?"

"Yes. I am. I have been for a few years now."

"I don't like mommy's mommy and daddy."

I sighed.

"I don't like them too. You'll hopefully understand when, you're older."

She seemed interested in what, I was writing."

"Are you able to read any of this?"

"Oh no. Not really."

"That's okay. You'll be able to read soon. We can help you."

"Y-you will?"

"Yeah."
