                                   Alyx's POV
I noticed the bathroom was quiet.

"Ash? Are you still in here?"

I finished my shower then got out and got dressed. Asher was on the bed doing something on his phone.

"Are you okay?"

"I'm texting Ella."

"How is she?"

"She's good. She said, her and Rose aren't causing problems."

"What do your parents say?"

"They're fine. Pixie has been showing Rose a lot lately. She knows what a phone is and how to use it."

"That's good."

"How do you feel?"

"Better. Did you find anything about that boy yet?"

"No. Try to ignore it."

I listened to him and ignored it for the 2 weeks.

Asher's POV
We got home and I called Cal.

"Anything?"

"Actually..yeah."

He handed me a file. I opened it and saw the boy's picture.

"That's him right?"

"Yeah."

"The witch he said he was raised by, didn't cover your tracks well."

"And that means?"

"You'll see."

I started going through the file.

He's right.

She didn't cover her tracks well.

"So all she did was, change his last name? That's it?"

"Yeah. Pretty dumb."

"Did you find her?"

"I'm working on it. But as of right now, he's back from the dead. He's not a zombie but.."

"He was legally dead."

"Alyx was right. She did watch him die."

"She's been living a lie for literally a decade. Oh god. This is horrible. This witch must've revived him. But what doesn't make sense to me is this. Why did she leave Alyx?"

"I'm not sure. Keep that in mind, I guess. Maybe...if we find her...there's some sort of logical explanation."

"You're right. It's just strange. She took a 10 year old but left the 17 year old to die? This all sounds ridiculous."

"I know. You're right. It does."

"How the hell am I supposed to explain this to her?"

"You uh..didn't have to. I heard it all."

I looked at the door and saw Alyx.

"I-I didn't mean for you to hear it. Cal, did you leave the door open?"

"No."

"I opened it slowly. The girls are in the playroom."

"You might as well, come in."

Alyx walked into the office and shut the door.

"Asher? If it comes down to it...I want to be the one to kill him. If not me then you."

"Woah. How'd you say that so casually?"

"I've been mourning him for a decade now. In my eyes, this isn't fair. I was being tortured and had tests done on me for 9 years. He was having the life, I wish...I had."

"A-are you sure?"

"I have done enough crying over him. He clearly knew...I was alive. If he did then...I don't know why...he didn't look for him. Me not looking for him...I understand. Him dead with his stomach torn out is stuck in my head. It's gonna be until I die."

"Why are you talking like this? This isn't you."

"I know. It's not. I don't know where this all came from. This is just how I feel suddenly."

"I understand then."

"Good. Thank you."

She exhaled.

"That's all...I came here to say."

"I don't want you to hate me for it though."

"You told me months ago, you told me you'd kill someone for me."

"Yes but...I wasn't expecting that someone to be your brother."

"It's like Callum said. He's back from the dead. He's a dead wolf walking. He's been dead in my eyes for years. Come to think of it...he might not be the Jett I remember."

"What're you saying?"

"I don't trust him."
