(Lil one-shots of Wukong going in and out of his meditative state with a few embarassing moments and what meditation is like to him!)

Wukong groaned, stretching groggily.

MK immediatly pounced on him, shocking the poor king, "You're awake! How are you feeling? Did it help restore your powers? Have--"

Monkey King pouted, "Oh, stop it. I am not awake enough for this... But to answer your questions, I'm still tired, and I think it helped a little with restoring my power."

Mei suddenly popped up, hugging Wukong, too. The oldest huffed, "Hello, greenie." Mei laughed, "Grumpy. Come on, you must be starving! Piggy's been worried about you not eating. Come on!"

The hyperactive teenagers dragged Wukong from the van, and sat him down in front of the fire place.

Macaque greeted his partner immediatly, "Wukong! Hey!" Pigsy immediatly handed the tired monkey a bowl of stew, which Wukong noted had been cooled down, "Eat."

The monkey hummed, "Thanks, Dadsy..." His eyes shut momentarily before startling himself awake.

He missed Tang and Bai He's amused smirks, Sandy and Macaque’s soft smiles, MK and Mei's teasing giggles, and Pigsy's bright red face.

The monkey held up his bowl, cooing, "This shit's good. Very nutritiousness. Good." He then continued eating, sometimes completely missing the spoon.

Mei snorted, "Dude, you look more sleepy than powerful." Macaque smirked, "He needs a lot of sleep-- Oh, sorry! Meditation in order to regain his vast amount of power."

MK placed a hand under his chin, "I thought he had to sit still, though."

Bai He smiled innocently, "He can't sit still, MK! He's too rowdy." Wukong glared at the girl, clearly offended.

He stood up, handing over his bowl, "M' gonna sleep! You guys are mean!" The kids and Macaque cooed apologies, watching Wukong storm away.

Or, well, he tried storming away.

They ended up witnessing him take a nose-dive toward the ground where he promptly passed out and started glowing.

Laughter immediatly erupted.

--

He sat up, looking around.

It was pitch black except for the field of flowers he sat in.

Wukong stood up on shaky legs, wandering around the foliage. He ran his hands through the plants, smiling softly at the textures he felt glide underneath his fingertips.

"Wukong..."

The monkey startled, looking around frantically. He knew that voice.

"Wukong..."

The king, thrashed, angrily yelling out into the void, "YOU'RE NOT REAL!!"

--

Wukong rolled around, muttering a small story as he bumped into Bai He, who was drawing on the floor.

The monkey startled himself awake, sitting up in a panic, "Wuh... Where are all the dragons..?"

The girl giggled, "Wukong, you were dreaming." The monkey pouted, shaking his head, "Nuh uh, meditation doesn't have a dream state like sleep. It's more... Complicated. A whole bunch of enlightment stuff."

Bai He nodded slowly, "Okayyy... Wanna draw?"

Wukong sat up, scooting up to her, "Sure. Where are the others?" The child passed over some paper and crayons, "They went for supplies, we're in a town at the moment. Mac said it was okay if I stayed with you."
