THE STORY 🫶🏻🖤

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My plan, Elvis Presley and Leslie Wright would return clean-cut, all-American kids. But...
Germany, 1959
I did not consider the most dangerous thing of all.
Elvis and Leslie through a party at the house they had rented for their two year stay in Germany. Though they were barely there, it was nice to have a place to go back to that wasn't army related.
Love and the love of friendship. Priscilla, the pretty teenage daughter of a United States Air Force officer.
Their first gathering they had there, they had met a young girl whose father was in the Air Force, Priscilla Beaulieu. She was their best friend and Leslie honestly didn't know what she would do without another girl to talk with that wasn't from work.
Most of the time, Priscilla would tell Leslie that she needed to stop being so shy and just go for it with Elvis. Leslie would shake her head and say that it wasn't the right time which Priscilla disagreed strongly with.
Fans crowded around the outside of the house, some trying to climb the tree that was outside their room. Priscilla looked out the window for a moment before turning back to Elvis and Leslie. Elvis was leaned against the bed with Leslie leaning against his chest, both in uniform, as they listened to Priscilla rant.
"And then he said to me..." she acted as if she was her father, smoking and deepening her voice, "'You know what, Priscilla? You gotta listen to me, sweetie, because these kids, they got people all over the world, okay? They got people waiting outside their house and people writing them endless fan mail'."
She spoke in her normal voice, "And then mommy decides to pitch in and go..." she then switched her voice to imitate her mother, "'Ooh, what could they possibly see in you, okay? What do you three do up there all night'?"
"And—" she paused as they looked at the door hearing a gasp.
Priscilla slightly closed the door more as the couple outside kept moving, "And I just said 'Mom, Dad... we talk and we listen to music, okay? That's all'. And then they were going on and on about that photo of you two and Natalie Wood riding around on those bikes in Memphis, and..."
She let out gasp and walked over sitting on the floor beside them, looking at them seriously, "And then what I said... And I said this really calmly, I said 'Listen, okay? Their just really lonely. And quite frankly, so am I'."
They looked at her in awe making her smile shyly, "And then they didn't really know what to say after that, so I went upstairs and I went to bed."
Leslie let out an amused chuckle, "I knew I liked you for a reason! Never met anyone like you, Cilla."
"Well, I hope not," she looked between the two with a suggestive look, "So, you two..."
